Why does TTC post listings when I did not actively scan traders?

For some time now I have noted that it happens that TTC (Tamriel Trace Center) is posting some items despite me not going to a trader and actually searching for items. Can someone explain to me why that happens?

Does TTC scan something in the background automaticity? Like the guild stores of my guilds? Or does it make these things up?

This is irritating me for some time now so I'd love to know why it actually does that.

It has been a long time since I used the TTC client, but I believe it phones home to the database server and updates. You.may be able to turn that off.

If someone in your guild uses TTC and scans the trader you are using too your listings get to TTC website either way so if you turn that "send via client so server" OFF it might still be online by someone else.

Many guilds have a member of the management team that actively scan their store every day, sometimes twice a day.

Also every visitor to your guild that searches for an item and has TTC client open will lead to that item and others making it onto the website.

Don't know about others but I usually have the client open when playing. 🙂
