PS/NA Lag is getting worse by the day

Anyone else in PS/NA having issues? I've seen posts about PC/NA having problems and commented that PS/NA is also experiencing similar issues as them.

I've been seeing huge lag spikes primarily in dungeons and trials, and it's always when there's a boss fight. Anytime the group of 4 or 12 players get together and start doing their thing to defeat the boss, the frame rate drops, nearly pixelated for a few seconds, then reverts back to normal only for the most annoying thing to occur: rubber banding. This has been ongoing and getting worse since the Baron Zaudrus Arm's Pack was in the Crown Store a little while back.

I say it's getting worse because it used to be just only the frame rate drop, which was bearable, but the rubber banding to happen in the middle of important mechanics (sometimes led to a full disconnect from the servers) is painful. I've seen it happen to not just myself, but to tanks who suddenly drop their block, and slide around like a wet bar of soap on the bathroom floor, then almost quite literally combust and drop dead. Funny for a second, til the whole group panics and wipes out.

Some people type in chat that they cannot continue to complete the dungeon or trial because the lag is that bad for them. Some blame it on huge number of effects and such congesting the game, some blame it on the servers itself because of the upcoming chapter. Whatever the reason, is there a dev response to this or investigation of sorts?

Also, on the same subject of lag, has anyone else noticed in the Vet Imperial City Prison once you get to the "Warden's Traps" part of the dungeon which leads to the mini bosses called "The Warden's Council," there's always a persistent lag in that one area too. Rest of the dungeon goes fine (until the rubber banding decides to come along) until that part of vICP. It'd been like that for months to my knowledge.

Yes, lag has been much worse for a while for me..since jubilee festival. I absolutely LOVE getting random load screens (sometimes within just one minute of the last one) while running somewhere and getting attacked and not being able to do squat about it...that used to be an occasional thing, but now it is a regular multiple times in a day occurrence.

Due to the free ESO+ I've played for a few days. I've noticed a change since the last time I played during the Anniversary event. Not only is there lag but I have run into situations where the NPC I'm fighting will just disappear. When its happened I notice the game not responding to the use of my skills. Once the NPC is gone everything appears to go back to normal. My assumption is lag is responsible for the situation.

Thank you for this feedback. We're also adding this experience to the report. We have sent along the thread already but adding these feedback along with @VouxeTheMinotaur and @Hypnotica713 direct comments.
