I really like it. Such a fun and joyful mood. And the little funny details we get to watch (mudballs...) We need much much more of this positivity in our lives from time to time.
I love it!

Nice trailer, but the soundtrack <shudder>. It brings back memories of those awful '80s rock ballads.

They should have used Cher or Britney Spears in the Gold Road release trailer.

I personally don't mind 80's rock ballads, but for trailers I prefer something that's part of the depicted world or at least fits the style or time the narration takes place in.
This trailer is light-hearted, so I mind it less, but I still remember I found it super unappealing when the trailer of last year's movie "The Last Voyage of the Demeter" (a dracula story taking place in 1897) had 1990's rock music in their trailer. And it wasn't really related to the topic in any way except it had "vampire" in the lyrics (which was meant metaphorically in a completely different sense). To me, that's total cringe (and I rarely use the word "cringe").
It's only a personal preference, of course.

Just to clarify here. This is not false advertising. We checked in with our video team to confirm this. All in-engine footage in this trailer was captured in-game.

I wanted to add that I much like the little story of friendship and growing community where two meet and then in the end this group is large and rides into battle. This trailer is so good on so many levels. It's a gem for all who love ESO.

Yes - the new Dragon Age trailer has a similar theme, but it isn't nearly as cute and wholesome (and the music is terrible).

I absolutely agree (especially to the edited part that I've seen before it was deleted ).
It's an interesting point, actually. If they tried to do what's "fashionable" here at the moment, they would have used either rap or maybe Billie Eilish. I don't know how it's in other countries, but here, the ranks 1 to 30 in the charts are basically 90% rap and 3x Billie Eilish. Maybe 2 or 3 outliers occasionally. But they used 80's rock music, something younger people here rarely know or listen to (unless some local rapper does a cover version and hiccups a barely understandable aggressive tantrum over the original song playing in the background - I'm not making that up, sadly)... Makes me wonder: How old is ESO's main target audience?

Lol. The main target audience must be my age - ‘80s had the best music!
