LOVE the aesthetic in West Weald interiors!

So much attention to detail - doing the Ontus quests at the moment and I've been so struck at how unique the interior look is, and the lovely detail added to so many things. I love that they added glass blowing as well! This is all very cool :)

I have to agree so many beautiful furnishings and stylings. I also love all the new looking Ayleid pieces.

Skingrad itself is absolutely wonderful too. I think it's the first city since Alinor for me that feels like a big city. Leyawiin feels like a town to me. I love all the NPCs and even the non-verbal ones all over the Weald. The little atmospheric stories being told.

I also was pleasantly surprised by Sutch and it's size. Also beautiful. The map feels enormous to me. It definitely takes me a while to grab all the shrines on alts, much like Elsweyr.

The Alyeid ruins and the forests. Just beautiful. The Scholarium assets meshed well with the older assets they used from Summerset.

I really like how they divided the areas with what they could do given the West Wealds shape. And some of the delves are huge! In a good way.

And let's not forget all the wood elf stuff and the vinyard and cheese furnishings are so well done too.
Of course I can't wait until they release more furnishings from the area and iron out the bugs (The bells of Julianos haunt me everywhere I go!) but overall gorgeous execution.

The golden-hour glow on everything is a nice way to create atmosphere for the chapter too.

"The shrine is breathtaking, sitting upon a rise and dominated by many standing stones carved with holy runes. The place truly seems to have been kissed by Kyne's icy breath."

Yeah, this is the expansion that High Isle should have been!

High Isle was its own thing and I enjoyed that too - but it feels like a little more detail went into this one and so many things feel unique. Really enjoying it so far.

Yes as light as the story was, the environment's both indoors and out are just sublime...lots to be proud of.

Honestly, there's a lot of love put into the environment of this expansion, and it shows. Every time I play, I stumble across some new little story being told through the placement of people and objects.

I even ran across a bug in Skingrad that looked like it was reading a book on a bench!

The animations on the NPC's are great too, and I noticed we have some new "types" of NPC's as well.

It's deeply immersive in a way the past expansions weren't. I want to see more of this type of storytelling through the world!
    Legends never die
    They're written down in eternity
But you'll never see the price it costs
The scars collected all their lives
When everything's lost, they pick up their hearts and avenge defeat
Before it all starts, they suffer through harm just to touch a dream
    Oh, pick yourself up, 'cause
    Legends never die
