i do wish there were more incentives to do achievements like that. i understand not EVERYTHING needs a reward, but some do take hours, days or weeks to complete depending on people's schedules.

would be nice to get something like a crafting motif only obtained by completing these achievements, or a nice simple skin. hell, i'll even take a non combat pet if it's cool enough

I LOVED this very much actually! The skin looks very nice and it was unexpected. I would LOVE if ZOS would continue adding similar achievements like this. One with a mount with the same skin and another for a personality or house? VERY COOL!

People: We hate that all the cool shiny things are locked behind trifectas or in the crown store, we want cool shiny things for just doing stuff.
ZOS: OK we'll give you this cool shiny skin for just doing stuff.
People: That skin is not enough for just doing stuff, we want more cool shiny things ...

More of a mount person than a skin person myself, but happy nonetheless for any earnable rewards given the monetization this game has

for me this was a very pleasant surprise and kind of an appreciation of long time fiderlity with character and game

didnt realise the achievemtn was anything special until someone pointed it out

I mean, you should have a boat load of titles, mounts, outfits, mementos, emotes, furnishings, styles, adornments and tattoos from doing all that anyway.

I think the skin is more than enough of a reward and a nice capstone to a decade of adventuring.

It would be one thing if I could wear the skin and show it in a trial or just something like that. Instead all I can get away with is showing the head. In order to show the full skill I would have to remove my gear, right?

There is the Nordic Bather's Towel Costume from the New Life Festival you could use for showing off the skin.

You also received rewards for completing the individual quest lines. I would guess they were motivating enough at the time or you wouldn't have completed them.

I don't quest for achievements or expecting rewards. I quest for the same reason I play single player games. To experience them. And when I'm done with a single player game, I have nothing to show for all the effort. All my loot in skyrim has been sitting in my inventory in a save file for the past 13 or 14 years! Does that make the experience of playing Skyrim a waste of time?

Plus, can you imagine the outrage if ZOS provided a reward bonanza for this achievement? Because if there was a _must_have_ reward, there would be complaints about the terrible grind required to get it.

While I do think it's a nice idea for broken items,... let's say I prefer a more natural look when it comes to people.
