For me, the excessive use of flashing white screen on most quests makes me fear I may get seizures considering I live alone and no one could check on me if one of these episodes gets me. Perhaps an option to change the color with some presets could be a half backed solution for that problem. I think a somewhat grayish color could be a good replacement.
You can turn off additional ally effects and then turn off bloom. Turning off bloom helps massively, I think ZOS needs to take a look at their bloom setting and update it because sometimes it doesn’t function properly (like I think it was the scalecaller radiant apex senche? That has a blindfold on but with bloom its eyes glow horribly through the blindfold) and sometimes is overwhelming (like literally I can’t see anything but light).

We don’t have these options on console.

Why wouldn’t you? Its in the in-game settings. Bloom is under video and additional ally effects is under video or combat, I think.

they simply do not exist on PlayStation and Xbox.
zos really needs to give us (all platforms) options to turn off flashing effects as has been said countless times before.
Like some mounts have pulsing/flashing light effects, the meridian sabre cat, it could just not pulse/flash and instead be a static glow

Please either scale back the particle effects in the future or give us an option to turn off player effects. The combination of player effects plus all the particle effects from mobs makes this game almost unplayable a lot of the time since you can't see your crosshairs, can't see where you are, can't see what you're supposed to avoid, can't see what you're supposed to use....really the game difficulty should be mechanics, not blinding the player so they can't tell what's going on.
