why can't I save costume with armory slot?

Just wanted to know if this has been talked about already. I like to change how my characters look like going from armory slot to another . sure thing it saves the outfit i am wearing, but why no options also for the collectibles? Like the costume or the hat... or the face marking.. it would be extremely useful and speaking of myself I would start to use costumes and such a lot more
