Maintenance for the week of November 4:
• [COMPLETE] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – November 6, 9:00AM EST (14:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EST (23:00 UTC)

Just maybe, a hint that Lilmothiit and Birdfolk might be in ESO someday?

I'm likely being too optimistic, but... by having this book in the latest addon, they're reinforcing the lore that these things are part of the elder Scrolls universe, ...so just maybe we'll get them?

Maybe even as playable races! Hope springs eternal :D

Had to give the whole book a read, frickin love it lol. I do genuinely hope so. ESO has the power to make nee playable races, as well as having the power to make the lore in order for them to be lore-friendly. I know someone’s gonna go “but Lilmothiit are extinct”, but the thing is, it was never confirmed. Only speculated. Tamriel holds a lot of secrets, and they could be one of them.

i think we could possibly see Lilmothiit in a future Black Marsh chapter or chapters.
    though playable seems less likely.

Also Lilmothiit are supposed to have definitely existed, they're just believed to be extinct due to the Knahaten Flu. the flu was fairly recent though so it's not 100% that they're completely extinct.

i think out of any races that aren't playable Maormer are most likely to really happen, but i would love to see more than just those

The mentioning of centaurs and Imga were already in the base game in Valenwood locations. Lilmothiit are known long ago from many books. So this new book is not guarantees their future appearance.
Practice with Kothringi shows that a simple appearance is not enough to fully introduce a race. What can Kothringi tell us? That they're blue and almost all dead? Well okay...

Unless they will retcon King Orgnum to change his mind about capturing Summerset, Maormer hatred for Altmer is embedded in their culture. While there are individuals that oppose that idea (that one quest in Summerset about forbidden love) you can't expect both Maormer and Altmer to be suddenly buddy-buddy when one of them is constantly harrasing and attacking ships and coast towns for centuries.

Definitely not as playable Races. They're supposed to be dwindled populations rarely seen, if ever. Suddenly having thousands of Lilmothiit suddenly running around would be spitting in the Lore's face.

A hidden away village we could find with a dozen NPCs, at best.

this is less bad than somehow argonians being "buddy buddy" with dunmer so i dont think it really matters.

we have met several friendly maormer in eso so far.
Like Captain Seravaen from the Galen zone story and Castire from Seakeep in Summerset

Birdfolk could just be harpies, no? I don’t understand peoples obsession with Lilmothiit, they’re extinct. Might find a couple like the Kothgringi or Snow Elves but they could just really be gone.

I would enjoy a Lilmothiit, Falmer or Kothringi companion. Playable is a bridge too far, but small isolated settlements, a companion or a one-off NPC here and there would be fine.

I think out of all of the hidden or rare races that Lilmothiit would make the most sense to run into right now. Sure, almost all of them either died or fled Tamriel but I just don’t believe that none of them had any ambition in life. None of them turned to piracy or being a bandit. None joined a Guild in another city or just became an adventurer.

Lilmothiit, Imga and maybe some Akavir races makes sense to run into. Not playable though but as something you run into or a companion or something… yeah definitely.

My thought was running into a couple in a Daedric realm. If they got their soul sacrificed to Molag Bal (or insert other Prince of your choice) we could run into a few and still have all of them be dead. Vampirism is a possibility too.
