Class Signature Scraps from Infinite Archive not dropping?

Supposedly Class Signature Scraps (of which you need 50 to get a Class Mastery Script) drop from rewards by completing the Infinite Archive.

I thought this meant completing the daily, but there was no Scrap in the daily reward.

Yes, I have completed the entire Scribing questline, yes it was on that character, no I didn't receive Scrap from any other source that day (have never gotten a Scrap for this yet).

Is this a bug? Or does "completing the Infinite Archive" mean something else? Or is it a random chance instead of guaranteed like the first Script per day per source? Or does it only start dropping once you've completed all the other fragments you can get from IA, like Unreliable Archive Maps?

Yeah I'm confused about this too.

Curious if anyone has received a scrap from IA?

got one after beating tho'at at arc 3. only done it once so far so i dunno if it always drops after you done with arc 3 or if it's random.

I was getting it everyday from Tho'at arc 1 completion chest...until today. Which is why I came here to see if others werent getting it either. But someone saying they got it on arc 3...and me getting through 2 arcs today with nada.....so I guess completely random and I was lucky the 1st 3 days...this grind is horrendous....4 days in 7 scripts to show for it...ridiculous amount of hours played.

I didn't get any from Arc 1 Tho'at chest or the daily quest coffer having already gotten 3 that day from a vet Arena clear. I always get a guaranteed scrap once I place first or second in daily battlegrounds. Far more faster than doing IA.

Also in Cyrodiil they are dropping ONLY with Zimmerons Scroll Quests. The other board ARE NOT WORKING. Poor!!!

5 times IA dailies, not a single scrap in the arc 1 chest. Doesn't matter whether I already got a scrap from other source beforehand.

So far it seems to be the only source that does NOT have a guaranteed drop once a day ...?

I gave up on trying to solo IA so i just finish Arc one and done... And no scrap.

Mastery Scrap Can be looted in all boss coffer( All boss and Thoat) but the chance to loot is abysmall.
I have looted only 3 Scrap ...
I play IA 16 hour per week ...

I also got none from an IA run.

Seen no official statement on this. Hoping they may be attached to the weekly leader board like Arenas/Trials.

As a test, I placed top ten on solo for Arc, but won't know till later today.

This has been a mystery to me too, because the tooltip says it drops in IA, and I've never had one. Not in a leaderboard box. Not from killing the first Tho'at incarnation. Not from killing the 4th. I've just done this again, to double-check, but I guess I'll give up on it now. I need four more, sealed writs it is, at least they're reliable.

All the rewards in Infinite Archive are a mess. Either they don't drop at all or the drop rate is ludicrously low. It's the most unrewarding activity in the game from an effort::reward ratio
