Is there a find-all-the-thingies quest in the West Weald?

I mean like the bard's college instruments or the Blackwood tapestry fragments. This is my first new content that I didn't mess around on the PTS for since the PTS was made, so I'm going in blind - I just didn't want to spend time searching for thingies in the Weald if there were no thingies to find in the first place.

i didnt quite look through all of the achievements yesterday to see if there was any collectible things lol

ill go back and do achievement clean up after i finish the questing lol

there is a new collectible from the public dungeons, similar to the high isle one it requires 25 drops from both dungeons to complete

I don't have this zone yet but they seem to have abandoned the "scavenger hunts" as I liked to call them, which makes me very sad. The last zone that had anything like it was Blackwood and it was half-arsed (no clues, and not even the item itself but a lead.) I suspect they see antiquities as the trade-off but it really isn't the same.

I always looked forward to this aspect of a new zone and I would love for it to come back.

Yeah, I thought the Bard's College one was done really well because that one book was sort of a "hint guide" to the instruments (and they glowed when you got close.) Blackwood was frustrating because both the hints and glow were gone, but tbh I'd rather have a zone with a quest like Blackwood's than have no find-the-things quest at all.

Yes, I forgot about the lack of glow in Blackwood, as well. You literally had to just stumble upon them. Most of the time I couldn't even see the thing, and only the prompt told me something was there.

I thought the "clue book" for W. Skyrim was lacking as well. Could anyone make heads or tails of what it was saying? It didn't even seem like there was enough to cover all the instruments.

I still have not found all the items for either Skyrim or Blackwood.

Like a lot of other things, Elsweyr was the last time it was done well.

The scraps in Blackwood glow now, as do the bits for the stove from High Isle, not sure about the alchemy station in Telvanni Peninsula - haven't really messed around there a whole lot.

there's the Skill Styles and Scripts. not sure if it counts, but i believe some are actually found in the world

It's usually not a quest, just an achievement, with ESO.

I'm part of those loving to do treasure hunts. There are several overall in the game, but globally, not enough (for me personally). I do hope there is at least one in West Weald. Have not checked yet.

Hmm, maybe the clues for Greymoor aren't so bad (for the most part)... I remembered them being more vague. I remember trying to find the fungal stairway from a textual ESO guide online and just couldn't make it out.

Might try tooling around Blackwood one more time now that they've added glow.

I like find all thingies too. They're something else to do in a zone.

i was taking a look at the various achievements and while not a large collection type thing, there are a bunch of "easter egg" style achievements that involve interacting with specific people/things throughout the west weald
