Skingrad has a great crafting writs area! :)

It ticks all the boxes:

• 2 of each crafting station (and 2 outfit stations), all in 1 enclosed outdoor area, so no loading screens
• both writ boards in that area
• writ drop off boxes in that area
• several crafting vendors in that area
• wayshrine quite close
• bank quite close
• stables reasonably close
• cheap inn room quite close

I think I've found a new daily writs location for one of my characters.

It might just be a candidate for the best crafting area in the whole game.

yes indeed and the writ boxes are easy to interact with unlike the Leyawiin boxes

or the Gonfalon Bay boxes, which have these slanted platforms in front of them, making interacting with the boxes a bit tricky.

Switching my main character to that location for today's crafting writs (from the previous long-term location, Wayrest) cut my writs time from about 24 minutes 30 down to about 22 minutes 45, not bad for 8 characters. That's with all 8 characters doing the writs in different locations.

[edit] Actually, my best time now is 20 minutes 55, I was out of practice, as I hadn't been doing daily crafting writs for a while.

It is a great area. Has anyone got surveys from the skingrad boxes? I haven't gotten a single survey from the skingrad ones all week LOL. RNG hates me I guess XD

Do you mean a "Skingrad" survey (at a location in West Weald)? or just a survey in general from the boxes in Skingrad?

I can confirm that both drop and exist. Done my writs each day there and gotten surveys both in West Weald and doing them in Skingrad.

yep! I switched to there from Summerset right away for writs, everything needed is nearby and it's pretty close to the wayshrine too, also not yet crowded

Yes I love it. Also has an exit that goes straight to the daily quest givers. Best crafting area in all Tamriel imo..well done Zos.

I'll have to look into this place. For years I've had my crafting hub in Rawl'ka. I'd run the loop, stop by Semrial to feed the horse and back to Sleek Creek.
