Gems from junk items and a glowing eye thingy. I think it's a memento, which I never use, but at least that means it's in a menu I never look at.

(After the time I got a spider pet from a free crate and had to ask customer support to delete it from my account I'm just relieved when they give me things I can trade for gems or ignore.)

I don't think this is accurate. I think the UESP article is the community's best attempt to guess what will be in the crown crate based on the data mine.

I got the Five Companions Tome item. Nice big book with some cool scenes of the companions. It was an additional 5th item, and I think I also got the body markings of the 5 companions as the regular blue.
