Too many modifications to save

Your software can't even save a simple note. FYI, when I make new friends, say after a vDSA run, I want/need to save notes stating where I met them. Saving notes for 3 other players is hardly "Too many modifications". Also, sometimes saving fails. Sometimes it succeeds. The error message pops up regardless.
