Apocrypha Furnishings Incorrectly Categorized

Some of the furnishings dug up in Apocrypha from the antiquities system are classified as "Special Furnishings" even though no other furnishing obtained in this manner is classified as such. My Coldharbor Surreal Estate home is full of antiquity furnishings as seen here.


Scrying Brazier Tall, Scrying Brazier Short and Watchful Light furnishings, however, are considered "Special Furnishings". Homes can only contain max of 10 in this category which is very limiting. This makes obtaining them burden due to storage. There is no good reason for this as far as I can tell. Please fix this mis-categorization. Thanks!

they're not incorrectly categorised, they just are special furnishings.

if you want to store more than 10 then you should get more houses i guess

they are an anomaly among similar furnishings so, i think they might be mis-categorized.

“get more houses” isn’t that helpful i guess.

That does seem odd, I wonder why they are classified differently from other antiquities.

Special Furnishing is usually for furnishings with more dramatic light effects. The Eye is obvious, but maybe for the braziers it's the runes and tentacle effects.

If you wind up with that many copies of the same furnishing, it's probably better to stack the items in the bank or storage chest.

I have an anomaly with the short and tall scrying braziers that I noticed yesterday too.

I have found and dug up three of the short ones and two of the tall ones, so the codex it complete on the short not the tall, yet at the achievement vendor the tall one is unlocked but the short one isn't!

it is really the only advice to give though.

special furnishings are more performance heavy otherwise the limit would be higher.

they aren't really an anomaly, these furnishings are not the same as for example the Forged Black Book, a book that opens and closes and nothing else.
They have lots of effects, are intractable, and the eye even moves around.

After 10 years of this game, there are only 36 special furnishings. Of these, only 3 are antiquity based. All 3 are from IA. Those three get lead-dropped a lot of you play IA regularly.

Getting stacks of Special Furnishings isn’t so special. Most of the others are crown based, which automatically cuts down the number most people will obtain.

I think they were categorized erroneously. If they were made this way intentionally it was a very bad decision that should be fixed.
