Building Editor for Houses?

Hi,

I'm pretty new to housing in eso and I generally like building stuff from scratch. About to buy Moonsugar Meadows when I'm a bit more flush. Sadly there is no such thing as a housing editor. I know by now that EHT gives you a very limited option to see a picture of the item and that you can preview building components by the ingame editor.

What I miss is an actual way to not only preview a building segment but also to place it in a design and save it as a "prefab". This would give me the chance to craft or buy the parts I actually need without wasting too much gold on experimenting. Given it shows me a list of what I used and auto places the structures once I have them in the specific cell.

I know lot of people have a good feeling for what they want to use but I have absolutely no idea what's available or how it looks like in combination with other items.

A feature like that would definitely help me.

    You can use the PTS.

I haven't used it for an age but EHT allows you to save builds.

So theoretically you should be able to make a design you like on the PTS, make / buy yourself all of those furnishings on live and then load that build.

ZO have also teased a big housing improvement coming later this year. Many suspect it could be a feature like this.

    I hope so. :)

I definitely will give it a try. Seems to be the workaround for my issue here
