Those of you publishing add-ons - please be careful and only have one main .txt file in your main add-on folder, otherwise the game tries to load the others. Try it, put in a readme.txt and it shows up in the add-on menu of ESO. This can cause the game to crash (it did with an add-on today, trying to load several .txt files). Just FYI.

Note: It will only try to load the .txt files if "Allow out of date add-ons" is checked.

Update: I've been told the ESO client shouldn't crash from .txt files, so if anyone from ZeniMax wants a sample just message me. I know this crashed for others as well, not just me. I see this being an issue in the future as it's an easy mistake to make, adding in readme.txt files, etc. Maybe use a special extension on the file instead of .txt? Maybe .zmax or something?

Yea, I got stung on that one. I just switch the file's extension i.e. read.me.

Just posting this for some attention - I'm loving the add-ons you guys/gals are creating!! Awesome!! I'm just mentioning it to save on support calls, headaches, etc. I realize mistakes happen. ;)
