2 Fire Lancers gone because of crash caused by BALL GROUPS!

There are no words to describe just how ANGRY I am right now!! Playing on PC NA-server; put up 2 fire lancers and my game immediately froze so I had to force restart my computer! WHEN ARE YOU AT ZOS ACTUALLY GOING TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT BALL GROUPS?!?!? Your game is destroying my damn PC!!! Mind you, this has happened a bunch of times, so it's YOUR GAME that is broken!!
This is so infuriating, losing 2 fire lancers like that because of nothing I did!

✭✭✭✭✭It's not the ball groups, it's ZOS' coding. I've lost lancers that way before when hitting multiple non-ball enemies, especially if they are wearing damage reflecting sets. The lag hits, and all those input calculations are paused, and then shot to the server in a bunch when the spike clears. The anti-cheat code detects too many inputs in a short period of time, and you get booted from the server.RIP Bosmer Nation. 4/4/14 - 2/25/19.5 -

✭✭It’s a variety of things in my experience. Just like someone else said it’s calculations but it is also groups too. Not just ball groups but any group that is in close proximity and all casting spells… that will cause lag. That on top of the other calculations and maybe an older pc/graphics card and goodnight. Not saying you have an older pc I am just saying in circumstances it doesn’t help.

✭✭✭You can file a support ticket and ask for them back (politely). They are able to issue you new ones if they’re lost due to crashing, although it isn’t a guarantee.
Wow I didn’t know this. I’ve lost dozens of lancers because of crashes though not recently.

✭You can file a support ticket and ask for them back (politely). They are able to issue you new ones if they’re lost due to crashing, although it isn’t a guarantee.
It's a guarantee they won't replace any missing siege due to a game crash. I've filed over a dozen of help tickets about this and they haven't replied to a single one. So don't even waste your time.katanagirl1 wrote: »

It would have been nice to know in the beginning. Now I have a lot of lancers so it’s not such a big deal. It was when I only had a few and lost them that it made me angry. Also now I know if I dc that I should refrain from placing them because it is more likely that I will lose them.
