How to change resolution when there are no options on character screen?

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place but I recently tried to return to the game. My character screen now only shows a character without any options for anything. I checked online and someone mentioned it is the resolution. Problem is with no options on the character screen there is no way to get into settings. I play on a 24 inch monitor that is set at 1080x1920. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but that didn’t work. Any help is appreciated.

On my system I have a Settings selection on the login screen and on the character select screen which gives me access to Video and Audio settings.

Sounds like your monitor is only showing you part of the screen. You may be able to go into the Windows settings for that monitor and adjust it there to show you the entire screen. I have a "t.v. monitor" that does that and that is what I had to do to see the entire screen. I had to adjust the video settings on the monitor itself.

Thanks for replying. I looked into the Windows settings that you mentioned. There is a whole list of resolutions. I tried a couple but they didn’t work. If anyone knows which resolutions to try it would be helpful. Thanks

if you have some screenshots of the issue that might help

if your using a normal monitor then you usually want to use what it supports, in your case 1920x1080, though there are other things that could make it display weird too, like UI scaling (which windows can do too, 100% scale is normal but it sometimes recommends/defaults to 150%)

After going through all the Windows resolutions with no luck I set the monitor back to 1920x1080. Then tried logging in one more time. This time an options menu appeared and I was able to get into the game. Don’t know what happened but thanks.
