Would that make Mer the other, other, other white meat... or could we just refer to it as "sweet meats"?

Bosmer cooking notes.....
As a Bosmer, I have found that the "Meat Mandate" can create an interesting understanding of cultures......
Bretons - tasty, but with a slight tingly feeling on the tongue.... best prepared in stews, but can be grilled nicely
Redguards - somewhat dry and leathery, but with a sweetness, reminiscent of date wine, I suggest it be dried into a jerky... it makes a very good travel ration for the wayfarer
Orcs - very gamey, and can be gristly .. boil in milk to improve both issues, but no matter how prepared, it is still somewhat tough to chew
Altmer - well ... some female altmer have VERY well developed hams.... salted a little, and served up grilled... the meat is naturally aged, so does not need a huge amount of treatment
Bosmer - well, what can I say ... it really depends on WHERE you get your bosmer .. but always remember, the fat content is low, so be prepared for it to come up a bit short in larger meals, where it would be showcased, unless some support is used
Khajiit - it is an interesting, but aquired taste.... two things, though... one, the meat sometimes exhibits a "squeak" when chewed, and two, no matter how you clean, prepare, or cook it.... you will still, probably, find a hair in it.
Nord - mildly gamey, with an open airy flavor.... naturally sweet, and somewhat marinated... one might almost say reminiscent of a pickling process.... but quite delightful, with a single Nord capable of feeding an entire extended family.
Dunmer - dunmer are a stonger flavored meat - one might almost say it most resembles dark meat on a chicken, compared to a breast, when placed besides other mer dishes... in addition, it almost always maintains a charcoal grilled flavor, in any dish
Argonian - it really depends on where you get your argonian - the texture is somewhat between a chicken and a fish, with some tasting more muddy, almost like catfish, while others can have a much different fish flavor... I recommend baked, or grilled.
And, finally, Imperial - a lean meat, with a somewhat sour flavor... very nice when paired with other meats, and cheeses... just remember that it is best in a sauce, whether a cream or spice sauce, that is your choice ...
