What is this Torc of the last Ayleid king drop chance....

I have done almost 35 runs of Infinite archive to arc 4. That is 3 Big boss chest, and 12-15 Mini boss chest.. With maybe 4-6 sideroom chest. Thats almost 25 chest per (my run).

35x25 That is 875 chest i have looted. Not a single lead for the torc has dropped. What am I doing wrong? Why will it not drop? Is it bugged?

I submitted a ticket and the support team said, basically ( The way the loot system works, is that it is totally possible you will never get the lead). WHAT. I uninstalled this game so fast...its wasting so much of my time, just to do something i want.

Torc was going to be my next option to be able to make all my toons have a fast and easy pvp build. or PvE if needed.. It was a way to create all my 15 toons to be geared and ready if i desired to play them.

Anyone else having this issue, or is the IA making me lose my mind.

Your math is incorrect. You only get leads/special drops from the Side Portals/Tho'at/Marauders. Also, you're probably just very unlucky, I've completed the entire codex for the Torc (3 drops of each). Also, try leaving the other golden leads from IA at 2/3, 4/5, and 4/5. I have this nagging suspicion leads are from the same pool and you may be pulling other leads instead.

i have no idea how you were basically told that it is totally possible you will never get the lead.

You should get it eventually, but it could take a few dozen tries.
but there are like a dozen tries in each arc with the Muniment chests from the bosses and side portals, the pilferer scamp, and in arc 2+ the Marauders too.

i don't really need it and got it quite fast, nearly got a second Torc as well.

Confirmed. I've experienced much the same. However, when you read about trouble others have also had with leads, many will say something similar. Like the mythic lead from vDSA took me over 30 tries to find... yeah. The mythic lead from Shadowfen took about 3 days. As for what Support said, it's possible you won't find it, however if we break this down to a matter of probability, if people are finding it then while a 0 return is possible, so is a non-0 return, meaning you find something. So, it's out there but sometimes it just takes a looong time to find.

All RNG. Someone got all leads in 1 hour. Others have been farming for a month and haven't gotten them all.

It took me a week to get the torc. 4 leads dropped from Tho'at, at the end of arc 1, and 1 lead dropped from Destozuno's reward chest.

I never got more than 1 lead per day, so my farming routine was to just kill Tho'at in Arc 1 until a lead dropped and then I would leave it until the next day.

i only just recently finished the 2nd copy of the mythic (i think i still need to dig up that last part though lol)

I’ve done 37 runs to arc 2 (defeating 1st and second Thoat) and only got one lead, and I’m starting to lose my mind.

Idk, but in my experience it is fairly high. I got all the leads in one run to Arc 9, and a friend of mine just got it in just under 3 runs, and we never ran past arc 3.

Spent 3 days in it 0 leads. I stopped looking for it. Sadly. I remember spending 6 weeks to get my last lead of pale order and I don't want to waste my time again.

May be you have more chance to get it if you play with max level excavation character

that has no bearing on lead drops

my main is literally the only toon ive leveled antiquity skill lines, but i run archive with other characters that have 0 skill in antiquity (never even did antiquity tutorial on any of them)

still got first set of lead drops within 2 runs, took more than 2 runs to get the 2nd copy of the mythic lol

Quick tip, if you get any leads, dont scry them. There is a shared loot table for leads and you wont get duplicates for the ones you have already collected but not scried.
Took a out 10 hours or so playtime to get all torc leads this way.

after 1 month every day farming and 0 drops i got them all ,was about to give up but then i got all withing a week

if your not doing bonus portals (or not successfully doing many of them) that greatly reduces the number of drop chances per arc

getting few to no scamps showing up while RNG also doesnt help

no marauders in arc 1, so if your not going into arc 2 thats a missed drop chance

so at a worse case, only doing arc 1, no bonus portals and no scamps, your only drop chance would be from tho'at
