Why is the character editor for female heads so limited?

I frequently struggle to make a female heads that pleases me. It is for some races easier than for others.

What I realized while playing with the sliders: It seems that moving the sliders leads to much more sophisticated changes to the head shape specifically for female heads. And I would say much much more sophisticated than for male heads. This means that excursions from the standard head (all sliders central) are much more limited for female heads. This is probably the reason why females all look so much alike each other in ESO and while this is to some extent true for male heads too it is still more pronounced for female heads.

ZOS: Why are we so restricted when creating female heads? I don't understand. Please leave it to the players to create the heads they want and that pleases them and don't impose a specific look to them. If a player wants to make an ugly female head so it is up to that player and none other's business. So please increase slider range also for females. Just keep the proportional factors as they are but increase the limits of the slider. For all existing characters this should not impact their looks, only move the depicted position of the slider in case that player would like to modify the look.

I agree that we should have more slider options for ALL our characters faces and features. Heck if they wanted to update the look, they could just maybe add in the character making screen "Head type" option 1 original, and option 2 whatever their new take on faces and sliders would be.

And keep in mind too there is definitely a "type" of player that can bee seen all over Tamriel. One in particular is the folks who try to make the most beauty-pagent competing High Elf ever. Soft face, duchess personality, royal page haircut, flower adornment, some sort of elegant dress costume. I personally see them everywhere lol. One time I saw 3 who looked almost exactly the same all in the same town.
So while yes the sliders may be part of it, I imagine a lot of folks are gonna go for the softest looking face on females they can make regardless.

I find the opposite true. Most of my characters are female because I find them easier to create one's I like. A lot of the male faces, especially the mer aren't flexible enough for me get the look I want most times. I been spoiled by skyrim mods I guess.

I do this. I like playing dress up with my girls and while I like the protruding brows and more alien looking faces of mer, I really need it toned down some.

That said I don't play altmer. Only dunmer and bosmer in the elf department.

To be honest I sometimes think we have a fake char editor anyhow in what concerns the faces. It is just pretending to give us personalization but it is so much limited - specifically on females - that this hardly merits the name.

It might be true that there are some who go for the same look.

My point is: I've tried to play with the sliders and I simply got a very very limited possibility to modify the head portion. This is completely unconnected to what other people make their faces look like. It is the editor which is limited. It really plays on nuances. Hence why I think we have more like a pretention of face personalization than a real face personalization.

I understand that some limits must be present in an MMO with motifs that still need to fit. But what they offer us on female heads cannot be explained by that imho as on male faces the sliders have larger range.
