A request from everyone who owns this game

BEFORE releasing the new content.
There is an achievement that requires zone quests.
Old quests.
The quests that remain broken a decade later.
In spite of bug reports and begging posts from...2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
PLEASE -these were never addressed!
One has to go to Reddit or Steam or Discord or the grandfather of a social guild to find out how, for example, to get out of the lava room that has a rock across the entrance because one designer just I dunno, put a rock there, and the story dev didn't know it...
You need a team of people on the enormous list of utterly broken and often not completable quests required for that achievement.

Really annoying when someone wants to write about something specific but is unable to write the name of a quest or NPC, just let everyone find it somehow, right?

You are saying the elf queen has not been seen since 2019? You mean I was talking to an imposter during all those quests? I need to have a talk with Raz. Those Eyes of the Queen were not looking where they should.

You didn't provide any information as to what achievement or which specific quest (the one with a rock in a lava room) you are referring.

As such, going by the responses up to this point, nobody knows what content you are describing.
So, how broken can the subject of your post actually be?

If it were so apparent, many other players who have been playing this game for years would know what you are talking about, and might be able to help you out.
So why don't you help us to help you by naming the content rather than just vaguely rambling?

I had broken quests only a handful of times - in 10 years, those were either fixed shortly after or fixed on the run by support.

@merevie - As a lot of people have (somewhat ironically) implied without directly saying it: if you want bugs fixed you need to be specific about what and where they are. It's pretty clear from this topic that whatever problems your alluding to are not universally known. It's likely people at ZOS won't know what you're refering to either, which could be why it's never been fixed. If no one has reported it, or only vaguely reported that some quests somewhere in the game have problems they won't be able to even start investigating.

Ideally you need to tell them the name of the quest or zone and what exactly goes wrong - what point in the quest is it bugged, what happens that shouldn't (or doesn't happen when it should) and if it doesn't happen all the time any info you have about what triggers it.

If you can't remember the name of the quest then at least something more specific than "the lava room with a rock across the entrance". There's a lot of lava in this game and it's usually found near rocks, so that doesn't narrow it down. If you can add something about which part of Tamriel it's in, or what you're doing there that might help people identify the quest.

Same goes for all the other bugged quests which you haven't even mentioned. No software developer has a giant "fix all the bugs" button and they definitely don't have time to re-run QA on every single quest in the game in the hope they come across whatever problems you've encountered so unless you and other people who have come across these bugs can tell them what and where they are ZOS cannot fix them.

The only achievement that is currently in game that relates to zone quests that I am aware off is cadwells silver/gold, but I would not call it "enormous" list of quests, and last time I checked, the only common bugs regarding to it, were that some objectives of cadwells silver/gold require additional side quests per poi, that are not listed in the list itself. Unquittable lava room? no clue, missing elf queen? never heard of that one.

I’ve been here since beta, quested through the all zones like 6 times and I still have zero clue what you are talking about.

If you have a broken quest, usually dropping it and redoing it fixes things.

Unless you’re RPing this as a clue game and the answer is just the Missing Queen in the Lava Room with a Rock…

I've done every single quest in the game with the exception of Cyrodiil, haven't had one single broken quest that wasn't fixed by reload ui, relogging, etc. I've completed all fine.

i guess OP refers to an achievement that will come out with gold road (asks to complete all storylines currently present in game) saw it on PTS and my main miss only the gold road storyline

At this point I inclined to agree with one of the posters in this thread that this was not a serious thread. If it was, I think the OP would have posted some clarification by now.

...Yeah I'm completely lost here. If you're having issues with a quest it would help to know what it's name is. Also use the bug report tool and be as specific as possible when you do.

I've played this game for longer than I wanna admit, and I've done all the quests, in all the zones. So... whatever's bugged, probably isn't always bugged? Maybe try dropping the quest and picking it up again. Or put in a proper bug report, as others have suggested.

I didn't think it was bad spirit. I was genuinely asking because I'm totally lost at what other quest it could be. I have no memory of such a thing.

OP rarely ever posts but they do seem to be a genuine user looking at their other posts.

If there are bug reports about this going back to 2014, it's a base-game thing. Since I've been through all the base-game stuff (multiple times in a lot of cases) without hitting the bug being described, please do not presume to speak for "everyone."
