Which storylines ended in cliffhangers do you know and would love to see continued?

I have known the Tharayya's story got continued in Frostvault and Depths of Malatar, with no Volenfell II, but didn't really remember (m)any others, until going through Blackheart Haven on a character who didn't do it before, and being in no rush, so I re-real all the quest dialogs and everything, and got reminded of the last phrase by Shifty Tom that I have completely forgotten and thought the quest just ends in him getting free: "My new master has waited long enough, and I think it's time you died for good."

It was obviously meant as a hook for Blackheart Haven II, but it never happened, and I am not aware of any others like that, but I would likely need to re-run quests in older-no-part-II dungeons as a refresher.

I suspect the dungeon quests are not the only one stuck with cliffhangers though. So, any others out there?

The 'Peace Talks' at the end of High Isle. You just see all 3 alliance leaders enter another room to have them and the DLC ends. The entire purpose of your adventure was to bring all 3 of them safe and sound to the Isle of all Flags so they could have them in the first place. Nothing came of it.

Such things can make for the perfect opportunity to change things up or allow for seasonal content even, that's usually bond to frozen in time due to Zos insisting on having everything play out in a single year.

Cyrodiil could have seen new changes to gameplay or zone design simply by our alliance leaders not coming to an agreement and changing their strategies as a response.
Overland zones could have seen a change to befit the "ongoing war". Rather than making everything look like not a day passed in 10 years.

That cliffhanger really did it for me.

Anything having to do with Selene and Warlock Carindon if you talk to him after beating Selene hes the bad guy always wanted a Selenes Web 2 where we get to kill him I know he reappears in Lair of Maarslok but the guy just has "bad guy" aura around him.
