Need some advice on attributes, CP and mundus

Ok, I have three high elf MagPlars that I wanted to do the same sort of build for each faction. I enjoy the build and just easier mechanics for me. All have the same skills and CP tree.

One of them has Nirn and Order's Wrath. I have no problem with her stats and The Thief is her Mundus Stone. Her Spell and Pen are in the 7000s.

But the other two have Sergant's and Order's Wrath and yet when I choose Thief mundus, both Spell and Physical Pen goes down to 700. So I switched to The Lover for each of them because that boosts it back up.

All three have the same CP tree. I am not always good with trying to keep up with all of this so, anyone help clarify why the two toons' stone does this? Or is the gear?

All I can think of is that your are using 5 pieces of light armor on the Nirn build but going with 5 pieces of heavy armor on the Sergeant's build. Otherwise, I'm stumped.

this, you likely have different size body armor going on between your builds

Thanks! I was actually looking into that! I did noticed that I was supposed to have Medium shoulders, so I crafted those for both. But it still does the 700 stats with the mundus stone to Thief. It actually did that on another toon too, a Magicka DK. I couldn't figure out why her pen was just always at 700 no matter what I did. So I just changed her mundus. Well thank you, I'm also at a loss. I wish I could have a ESO person go in and look at what's going on. lol

a lot of stuff doesnt actually increase your pen

the stuff that does is:

• light armor
• any weapon with "sharpened" trait
• maces (1h or 2h)
• destro staff (any type)
• the lover mundus stone
• sometimes class passives (though in your case templar has nothing that boosts pen through class bonuses)

you dont necessarily need to increase your pen that much if you include debuffs as well, any debuff that reduces enemy armor effectively counts as +penetration for you (so major and minor breach alone is roughly 9000 penetration equivalent)

The 700 is probably from piercing CP.
If you have the same amount of light vs medium pieces, check your light armor passives - you need to have put points into those to get the penetration bonus.

Keep an eye on your Spelldamage as well.

Never use Heavy armor, if you are looking for damage. And Sergeants is only good for Heavy Attack builds. Useless for others. So, if you want the same build for each toon, you should wear the same armor on each.
