especially with their ground aoe dmg shield from the dark magic line now as they have changed daedric mines, i feel all their dmg shields firstly should be lowered by 15% and than they should have one of their passives give them back that 15% in the form of a unique dmg shield buff that applies to all dmg shields like the arcanist cause it feels like the 2 mage classes who both have a powerful self shield and group shield that are actually really good SHOULD get the same buff to said shields with in regards to their own shields, there would be no difference BUT they would actually get equally as strong dmg shields from all other sources like arcanists

No they mostly need a overtime healing for at least 5 second that is not for the ground and for group and same goes with templar and nightblade

hmm well i think that would work as a general buff but this is more a flavor buff for people who wanna take advantage of the sorcerer having a similar mage dmg shield focus to the arcanist

I don't think the word "buff" and "sorcerers" should be in the same sentence for a while, they are doing pretty good atm

Honestly the changes to conjured Ward are already what sorcs have been needing for a while. Reliable healing not tied to flappy and it instantly jumps to success.

Nah. More homogenization isn't needed. Let Sorc feel different from Arcanist. Everything doesn't need to be cut from the same cloth and covered in the same pattern.

    • Guildmaster- Lucky Raven
    • Knight of Marrow - Blackfeather Academy
    • Adepti- The Witches Goblet
    • "Nightblade healer huh? How does that work?"
    • "I drain the blood of our enemies and fire it into you. It's a lot less messy than it sounds, and yeah I'm basically a Vampire without the whole AGH FIRE BAD"

its just this one thing especially with the change to the daedric mines morph where it gives your allies dmg shields as well on top of their massive dmg shield they had that makes this something that the other wizard style class should have. arcanist still would feel massively different on literally everything but this one passive which mind you, the amount of mages and wards we see in this game alone is so immense that it is nonsensical that the sorc doesnt have something like this already especially when in other TES games with skyrim being a big on for this we literally see EVERY damn enemy mage use a flesh spell and a ward spell. like literally, if they are a mage, they are using wards which again, damage shields cannonically are wards sooooo yea....
