Volatile Armor

Good morning. Dragon Knight using volatile armor. I am getting the spikes visual, but not boost in armor. I have never seen this before. I have two dragonknights. The newer one gets gets the spikes and the the buff in armor first one doesn't. I am sure I am missing something simple. Any ideas?

Are you running any other gear or abilities that are also granting Major Resolve? (Chudan, Unstoppable, Balance, Oakensoul)
These buffs won't stack, so you won't see an increase in armor if you already have it applied.@Munkfist PC-NA
