Who Else wants a Musketeer Outfit to make a Puss in Boots Kahjiit?

Wouldn't you like an outfit similar to that of the Three Musketeers and Puss in Boots? I know I would!

I'm sitting on the fence Yawlin' at the moonlite!

I'd want to see the costume first - or, well.... the hat - daughter plays FF and a couple of her characters have one of those swashbuckling hats with drooping feathers etc. I'm not sure... that's a good fit with ESO.

But I'd be willing to consider it!

I wouldn’t be interested personally, but something similar could be made from style options existing in game. Full Three Musketeers style would be outside of anything I’ve seen in Tamriel, but so are many of the skins and mounts we have.

It wouldn't be any more jarring than the Outfit you get completing Hews Bane, Cosh's Merchant outfit, with a Turban. It's just clothes, after all. I'd be happy with it being a style or an outfit.

I voted yes, but then I actually went to look at the pictures from the movies and realized that he's not wearing pants in most of them. LOL! Oops. Ha ha.

We just got a hat that's very similar to that, though, in the most recent Crown Crates.

It is, technically possible to get close - you can use one of the newer hats - and either the new costume, or even the wedding suit, or nobles garb costumes.

the recent Plumed Cavalier hat is one of my favourite hats now and it is pretty similar to a Three Musketeers' hat

It should not be a Costume. Costumes are too limiting.

It should be an outfit put together from various Motifs

Abah's Watch boots would work well.

Looks great - all you're missing is the tabard. You could use a guild tabard, although you'd have to make your own guild in order to customize the tabard and make it look like a Musketeers one. I don't think there's any way to do the big long sleeves on the tabard, though.

I would, actually, prefer that option ...
But, other than boots, there are very few motifs that even, remotely, look like normal clothing... with the exception of the drowned mariner... and sadly, it is too tattered and soiled

I really wish they would make NORMAL clothing, as style page options, and let us use those....
What I would not give for a long coat, over a vest, or similar .... something like a 17th or 18th century military coat ..... again, you can almost get it with the noble costume, but the color bars are not conducive to good style.

And for people that are complaining.... it isn't making the game into something else.... it is using very common clothing styles from a great many fantasy genres, to include Elder Scrolls, as you have a LOT of customization in Daggerfall.....

Not everyone runs around, all the time, in armor... and we DO have normal clothing, albeit, it shows up most of the time as a stolen good...... but you can wear it. All we would like is to have the option of wearing normal clothing as a style page in the outfit system, instead of giving up armor value for it.... same as you can do with other things, like the Soul Shriven outfit pieces you can use.

Gold Road Dragoon Style, with one of the hats we have already in game.
Hide the shoulders, paint it blue and there are gazillion set of boots to choose from.

There's also Sunspire light and medium, and a few style pages like Regal Regalia, and of course the prisoner clothes, with are even more tattered. But many, including myself, have wanted more clothes-looking styles for ages and more simple armour. Like why aren't they adding all the stolen clothing as styles?

No, I don't want TESO to start copying/using styles of already existent characters from books, movies, etc.

I prefer TESO to remain original and true to its own lore.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that ship has already sailed --- as noted, earlier games, in the Elder Scrolls line, DID have a lot of this... and a good example, the Ne'erith staff is the Punisher Skull, if you look at it, and have someone hold it active in front of a dark background.......

We have the drowned mariner, and several cutlass swords, that, with the right costumes and motifs, allow for very good resemblences to historical earth pirates of our own 16th and 17th centuries ....
A swashbuckler outfit (which is what is being asked for), would more than fit in with the current gameplay....

That's something completely different. A pirate is something of the real world, a swashbuckler too, it's like you saying that TESO has Nords and Nords are a historical european race, or saying that TESO has Khajiits and that's based on cats from the real world. Of course it is.

That's completely different than asking ZOS to create a Puss in Boots or Superman outfit and see a player using a blue outfit with a red cape and an S in their chest. That would obliterate TESO lore.

And I can assure you Nerien'eth's staff has nothing to do with The Punisher skull.

I use the staff on my necros.... it's close enough for government work....LOL
Most are looking for a swashbuckler outfit - I'd love a long coat....

For that matter, I have already seen people run around that are recognizable as Deadpool, and others.....
I do understand what you are saying.... but it is already possible for people to pull a lot of this off.

I am, personally, wanting "normal" clothing as a style page ... but that's me.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying, people can already try and dress similar to a character they like.

I've seen Spiderman, Aquaman, Zeus, Jesus, even Mario Bross, and others, but it's always players trying to replicate those characters, not ZOS creating those outfits specifically.
