All money, gear, improvement items and crafting materials, legendary and epic mats: gone.
At this time they could not do retroactivity on everything, some people get back the items lost, some not
Husband and myself were part of those who lost everything. And ... we left.

I don't think we really need or get much else. I dont think they can go into their methodology without having divulge protected information.
We do not know anything yet, at least in the thread they've posted all the situation updates. They promised they would "follow up in the coming days with more details summarizing what happened and will share any additional information at that time". That has not happened, to the best of my knowledge, only updates on fixes and compensation. For a start, how about how on earth the PTS was ever able to affect a live server running a different build?1 -
