Does anyone plan to actually ride the Jubilee Confetti Mount?

I gave it to Azandar: it suits his 'flamboyant' style, I like the idea of him serving me cake, and he is never in front so I can't see its 'dirty' butt.
It's a tradition, or an old charter, or something...

.... it spreads a trail of confetti behind it. And while mounted, the rider also holds a piece of cake on a plate. And to make things even worse, I just found out that it also jingles when mounting up.

buahahah these are the reasons I love it

Sharp will, as my forsworn squire he looks out for my armor & weapons, sees that I'm well fed and fit for fight. However he will wear the clothes and ride the mount of my choosing.

As I'm much in awe of Sharps professionalism and feeling often very inadequate as he's such a fearsome warrior I feel a rather foolish need to taunt and tease him.

What better than to dress him in the Passion Dancer's Attire as he loves dressing up /s. Adding the Jubilee Steed mount streaming confetti while eating cake only adds to my amusement as I know how much he will dislike these impositions.

Woe is Sharp with such a frivolous master and yes, Jubilee Steed mount FTW!
I have an ethereal crown of three spirit crows:
    - On top is Grandfather spouting words of wisdom.
    - On the left is Empathy who is rather naive.
    - On the right is Ego who is rather greedy.
The incessant cackling is quite amusing.

The more I discover about this mount the more I dislike it. It does not fit my image of the strong powerful characters I encounter when playing ESO.

Not everything is about power in Tamriel, that's why we have a huge amount of mounts that have nothing to do with power, same as this horse.

You talk about this horse like if it was the first "not powerful looking" mount in the game, when there are many others that fit many purposes since, again, not everything is about looking powerful.

Indriks don't look powerful, still beautiful and a lot of players using them.

i would for sure be using the stick mounts more if they didnt ignore the mount speed bonuses lol

What is the point of this post? If you don't like the mount, don't ride it. No need to make a post about it lol. Some people like it, some people don't whoopty-doo.

I don't understand what the problem is with asking people what they think about something ESO-related.

Now, to answer OP's question: the event has left me so bitter I didn't feel like trying the sparkly cake equine yet. While it doesn't exactly fit my toons' personalities, I can picture myself picking that mount when feeling a bit silly. For instance, I could make an evil-overlord-in-dark-and-ominous-armor outfit and have him ride the glittery baked goods steed. Who can deny the powerfulness (is that even a word?) of cleaving your foes in half and then treating yourself to some cake?

Nope. A little too silly for my tastes, and I don't like the cake holding animation. I've been rocking the new preorder mount and the treasure hunter horse.

It would have been nice to ride this earlier in the event. I got my 25th confetti scroll on the last evening. I rode it for a few minutes around the Vivec City crafting area before swapping back to my white camel.

That's something I noticed as well. You grind for an anniversary themed mount, but once you get it (if you weren't locked out by maintenance) the anniversary, which is that main reason for using it, is over. But if they gave it to you to use during the anniversary, you wouldn't be forced to buy tickets as they wanted you to do, either.

I was going to use it for specific characters, but that was before I got it and saw the confetti and the cake. So now it's just another mount on the pile.

Tried it and the cake holding bit I can fluff as an extreme posture lesson/hazing ritual on the part of the higher ups in the Aldmeri Dominion, but I can’t quite get over the sparkler/fart noise it makes while mounting.

I was ashamed I spent some of my tickets on what has to be the ugliest mount in game. If I could I would delete it.

On a side note, I hope I never see as many horse butts again. Ever.

Some of us do, though. I really like the horse. I have several alts with silly/cute/pretty themes, and I love when they put content in that speaks to my inner Fantasy Barbie. I think the slice of cake is delightful, and I love the confetti effect. The tail doesn't bother me any more or less than a hundred other similar issues in the game.

I've been pretty disappointed with the event overall, but was pleasantly surprised with the a.) the horse itself, and b.) that it wasn't a money-grab. I hope they continue to sprinkle in cute, sparkly content for players like me for years to come. Y'all get plenty of "serious" content - don't rain on my (cake-filled) parade! :)

Didn't bother get it. I don't like the silly and unimmersive effects, but even without them I wouldn't use it because I can't stand that horse model. None of ESO's horse models is that good, but the slimmer models makes all the bad parts worse to me.
