Event: last 3 tickets and Jubilee Steed and maintenance

I wish to reach out to the Devs to show my anger. In 10 years playing ESO I never saw such overlooking just to almost seem malicious.

I just tried to log in PC NA server to get the final 3 tickets of the event that will wrap down in 3.5 hours and to get the final fragment of the Jubilee Steed Mount (I am at 24/25 fragments).

The server went in maintenance exactly at the roll-over so skipping out the last chance to get it and will be back online after event END!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is really a nice way to give us more time to play the event. I feel robbed of a really small thing but it is not the Mount or the tickets..... I was lucky of not finishing on the PTS trouble by not being on PTS.

I am angry on the total disregard of the staff in planning the start of the maintenance at the roll-over!!!

Do you play your game or when you grant an Event extension you give misleading announcements????
I am going to think deeply before I buy another expansion or a eso-plus subscription next months.

I repeat..... It is not really the matter of the Mount.. I have enough of them and also the tickets... but I am feeling angry for the disregard about the starting time of the maintenance. It seemed really made to make the players (customers) angry

Yes, the timing could not possibly have been worse.

I feel for the folks who missed out on the mount through no fault of their own.
    RIP Bosmer Nation. 4/4/14 - 2/25/19.

<DERP> E didn't combine them. You have to hit E 25 times for mount and achievement. </DERP>

This extension should be seen as bonus tickets, you shouldn't plan on needing bonus time to get what you want.
And to those complaining, well console folk don't get these extra tickets. If anything they should be the ones complaining.

And maintenance wasn't on during the official end of the event. They have to do it at some point.

They didn't get a several hours long unplanned outage in the middle of the event either! :p

It's a tradition, or an old charter, or something...

i guess the smart move for Zeni is still keeping confetti for Event tickets during the next Q2 event
and i hope it would be Zenithar event (which is not "paywalled").
and the "last call" should be New Life event when players get an opportunity to "catch up" should they missed anything during the year.

and, yes, PC/NA maintenance start time was quite unfortunate, making the second "extra" day unavailable,
while PC/EU day changed 7 hours ahead of PC/NA, and there is no maintenance at PC/EU today.

Though it is ESSENTIAL to unjail all affected NA players, and i am especially missing SkinnyCheeks, JHartEllis and NefasQS
starting maintenance few hours AFTER day change could be a better decision, allowing players to wake up early and get these 3 ticket of the second extended day. Time does not flow backwards, though, even in Tamriel. :(

I'm sure nobody counted on bonus time at the beginning of the event when they were calculating what they needed. But once ZOS announced the event would be extended until the 25th, it was completely reasonable for players to include the 25th when figuring out whether to spend tickets on confetti.

Before the event was extended, I figured I'd have to buy 3 confetti (I think). I bought one early in the event. Once I heard about the extension, I realized I didn't have to buy that one, because now the event would provide enough tickets for the horse (if you could log in this morning). It turns out I lucked out by buying that one confetti, otherwise I'd have to spend more event tickets today to finish up.

The last day of the event on PC NA is always not really a day.... It is usually 4 hours of time for the reset time and the end of event time combinations. All of these 4 hours were removed through arbitrary decision that could go in any other way... so it is not similar to a standard maintenance.

Moreover... we lost time during the event for the PTS trouble so the two more days were for all the users not just for the stucked one

Not that I'm trying to boast or make anyone bitter or angry but...

I was on farming dolmens until the bitter end and it was just barely possible to get those final 3 tickets.

On my main account, I claimed those 3 bonus tickets and tomorrow's daily login rewards.

Didn't think it would work but I tried to log into one of my alt accounts and got the expected login servers offline message.

It is odd them timing the event end like this.

I have been away a while it always used to be the case that the event was advertised for a certain duration and there was a little bonus 8'ish hours at the end where you could pick up an extra day worth of tickets.

I had just enough time to get the 3 tickets and buy the last 3 cake slices to get the last achievement I needed ( already got the mount yesterday ) but it was very close. I was spamming eating cake right at the event vendor and still just barely got it.

    Now that's hard core.

So you had your cake and ate it too?

There's no way anyone can convince me this wasn't done on purpose to grief the player base.

They could have started maintenance at least one hour after reset to give everyone a chance to get the last 3 tickets, especially knowing that maintenance would take EIGHT FREAKING HOURS and the servers would be up again after the event ended.

"Let's give them an extension, then take it away".

    It's psychotic.

Even if some of them properly enjoy their work, at the end of the day, money is what drives decisions.

There's no profit in making players angry.

Meanwhile this event we've seen October event furnishings pop up and the PTS and live server connection bug resulting in players losing their characters (later restored) on live servers. Etc. etc.

Whatever the cause, errors have been unusually common and also severe this event.

It's not difficult for me to imagine someone just screwing this up.

It seems to me that today we welcome back all our friends that were stuck out for the happening of PTS (definitely not their fault) but at the same time players that were lucky enough to be abel to continue to play were given their part of bad service today.

I know that the first group has lost most of the event... but people not able to collect last things today in a period of time that was given as extension of the event got their part of bad deal today.

Why the maintenance could not start 30 minutes later?

Count me as another who budgeted things out and was planning to collect my final 3 event tix today and my final confetti piece for the mount. I had considered buying a couple event tix with crowns so I could get it a day earlier, but I was counting on the announcement of the event ending on the 25th to be able to get that without burning crowns. If I had known about the server takedown at that time, I'd have just bought them.

But no. ZoS decided to say "psych" on that last few hours of the event. Just to add insult to an already poorly executed anniversary event (with the grind that made you second-guess your existence, the PTS screwup, the extended account lockouts as a result, and on, and on).

I don't like the Jubilee Mount.... I just feel grieved... I could have taken last confetti yesterday with tickets but the late announcement of maintenance was bad bad bad.

Now I feel that who was on PTS got the better part of the deal..... I would have preferred too to have few days off and then get all event collectibles.

I am playing ESo from January 2014... and now I am thinking about the lifetime I lost on it ;)
