Vampire is completely dumb and broken. Save for one passive and one skill, mist form its basically useless. The sacrifices you have to take to be one is absurd. The health mechanics are stupid, there should be 'blood' mechanics instead. That would make so much more sense. But if thats not possible changing the skill that sucks your life away, in exchange for more damage either needs to be buffed massively, or the health lost during the duration of the skill should be a life saving mechanic added. Something like, health consumed is returned just before death. That would be one powerful ability and really worth while. I have no comment on feeding, its always been useless. Honestly if they went with the Morrowind style absorb health type drain it would have made so much more sense.

Arcanist is honestly broken, I love the class don't get me wrong and would love for it to stay where it is, but its broken. Too much of everything, its literally perfect in the way it works. Every other class needs to be brought up to standard if you don't nerf arcanist.

Mag Necromancer does what exactly now days? It has a few dots, but otherwise nothing. Why? Magic necro could be the most iconic version of necromancy but its got nothing! Aldo lets not forget the micromanage from the underside of tameriel. Four timers have to be maintained at all times, blast bones, armor buff, ghost, and mage skeleton. It honestly, stupid hard. Let not even talk about the tether stuff.

Honestly, i'd be nice if Nightblade didn't have to be gank meta all the time freaking time. It's siphon skills are basically meh, nothing like what they used to be. Honestly, they're almost useless. Even a sap tank isn't possible anymore really. Its dots are ok I suppose but just nothing fantastic. And shadow is honestly a lost opportunity. So much could be done with shadow as far as unique mechanics due to its theme, but its just meh.

I don't really have a comment on sorc, it was my first class, its just there. It has no real identity anymore. At least to me. I use it for its speed lightning buff to get around faster as a crafter.

No comments on dk, or templar as, I find dk easy mode, and templar's spear skills annoying due to their graphics. There was SOOO many more ways graphically you could have done either of those skills that makes more sense for the paladin theme but MEH. its the only class I don't actually have.

I've only been back about three weeks, and this is my overall general impression and experience with the classes.

    Vampirsim:
So the stuff with the vampirsm... that's basically how it was before they nerfed it. And it was so overpowered that literally everyone was using just vamp skills for trials and PvP alike. Despite the nerfs and changes it's still pretty much required for PvP and tanking because the passives are just too good to pass up and the costs are irrelevant. Mist form isn't bad either if you want some extra juice for a bomber that isn't a sorc with negate and streak or a nightblade that can simply cloak in and teleport out.

    Arcanist:
Dunno. Don't have it. Don't care too. Seems janky in PvP. Everyone else says it's too powerful in PvE. I'll take their word on that second one.

    Necro:
No such thing anymore. Maybe later this year they'll change some of the passives to increase storage space so that all the people using it for mules will feel vindicated?

    Nightblade:
Are we taking PvP or PvE here? They are obscenely powerful even if you want to play a brawler. And don't even get me started on NB healers...

    Sorc:
Sorc identify has always been ' go brrrrrrrrrrrr'. But currently they seem popular again and for good reason. They suddenly now have an effective way to burst heal themselves. At least ones that stack either health or mag do.

    DK and Templar:
Dk seems fine to me. Couple of useless passives that have needed updating since release but otherwise solid. Templar is also decent if you know how to build and play for it. But it could use a rework on some of the active class skills that no one uses anymore because they are antithetical to how you'd want to build or play a templar.

    Three Weeks In:
I only play now and then. Was away for years and only just started again during the holiday season. Not sure if I'll continue but I do want to at least see what happens next patch! This game is going to utterly implode and I look forward to it! Between exploits, bugs, and balance it's going to be an absolute free-for-all and I love it. Bring the chaos! Bring the pain!

I am in a trail guild, and yeah I have never heard of vamp for anything BUT pvp. But its contributing to the tanky meta in pvp currently. Which isn't a good thing. It needs a rework. When four of the 6 six skills are nearly useless then the skill line is ineffective. When only one passive is useful, the passive is too effective. Honestly, that needs to be removed. Imo.

I think a healer would lose their mind if a vamp tank rolled into a trial.

I love Arcanist, but I agree. I wouldn't call it broken, but it has exposed the flaws in every single other class. I loved running NBs and Templars as PVE DDs but why, when I can run an Arcanist and not deal with the handicaps those once go-to PVE classes now have.

PVP needs to be torn down and rebuilt. I'm basically done with Cyrodiil. NB, DK or Warden is all you see, with either kamikaze burst damage or 40K cheese. Its boring.

Lol. That was the general attuited of the guild was for vamps lol. Though apparently, vamps can get 100 block mitigation which is broken as hell on its face.

Pretty much, there are just a one stop shop at this point.

    Agreed.
