I'm just dreadful of the thought of Dreugh Wax becoming 50k-60k a piece & Tempering Alloys becoming 30k-35k, etc.
Just gonna ask this: Is the community satisfied with the drop chance of gold materials when refining (or picking up Runestones)
Currently every gold material has been super inflated (due to less bots ironically).
Obviously there are a multitude of ways to combat this:
1) Increase the chance of getting gold materials from refining/gathering. Gather rate remains the same.
2) Increase the amount of materials we receive from gathering. Multiply the current gather rate by 2x or even 3x. Refine % chance remains the same.
3) Increase the value of Plentiful Harvest to 100%. Gather rate remains the same. Refine % chance remains the same.
I'm curious what other ideas you guys might have. I know mine are not perfect & I don't know of the consequences it might bring.

Honestly, I play since 2014 and have never seen a gold-craftingmaterial in the wilds. I just buy them from Guildvendors, I have no idea where they come from.
Getting one from refining raw materials never ever happened to me. Neither have I seen one from deconstructing (but maybe there is only a chance when deconstructing golditems? But who does that?).

It already reached 50k/30k on PCNA, but the event has brought it down a bit.
Prices always lower when there's an event where mat drops are increased, so having a permanent increase to mats would indeed permanently put downward pressure on inflation.

I'm curious, how much crafting do you do in the game? Anyway, here are sources for gold mats.
Decon items: you have a chance of getting a improvement material that is equal to the quality of the item you decon. So purple item - purple mat, gold item - gold mat. Since I suspect most players rarely decon gold items, this is one of the least frequent sources of gold mats.
Hireling mails: Have a small chance for dropping gold mats (except JC), so having hireling mails will give you some eventually.
Crafting Dailies: Will have a chance to drop gold mats, at least the highest level ones. Can't remember if the lower level ones do.
Crafting nodes: Only drops gold mats for Enchanting. This is the one of the main sources for these however. Can be found on survey Enchanting nodes as well. Still worth pick up nodes for BS, WW, JC and Clothing for the raw mats.
Refining raw mats: This is the biggest source of gold mats for BS, WW, JC & Clothing. Whenever I refine around 1k of raw mats for a resource, I get around 5-12 gold mats for them. It can vary since it's RNG. You 100% want the Meticulous Disassembly skill from the green tree while doing this as it makes a big difference.
As far as topic: I'm good with the drop rates as they currently are, you can get a lot each week if you craft and collect survey maps. But I'm selling gold mats and it is a solid source of income for me, so I'm definitely biased.

You forgot the surveys you get from the dailies. Otherwise great list.
