With all morphs, why not make that cake into a flower or anything else that are more fitting a horse riding NPC? With all events like this it could be something one upgrade to have a morph that can be applied instead of cake, more or less the same way as Indrik can be morphed with another skin.

(A) any token from Dungeons, Trail or WB could be one option
(B) any flower, plant that exist could be replacing cake
(C) or any small animal or bird that would fit sitting on that hand or having a small cage hanging from hand.

Honestly I would prefer a puppy or a kitten that you would have in your leap while riding.

It would be even better if the dismount was Elden Ring style (i.e. more realistic). In that game you could gallop towards an erdtree guardian, slice of cake in hand, do the jumping dismount thing, and hurl the cake. Take that, erdtree guardian!
