ZOS- Can we get a Monster Helm or Ability Altering Weapon that buffs class abilities?

I noticed that ZOS has introduced class-specific armor and weapon sets over the past few years and I really like the thematic use of core class abilities. So far, we have:

Innate Axiom: 5pc bonus adds 400 weapon/spell damage to class abilities

Claw of the Forest Wraith: 5pc bonus adds 2037 crit chance to class abilities

Infinite Archive: Each set gives a bonus to each class.

Class Mastery Scripts: Still in PTS- but it's an interesting concept that provides unique styling for each class.

It'd be cool to have a Monster Helm or Arena/Trial "Class Ability Altering Weapon" that would buff our classes.

***I understand that these armor sets aren't OP or the meta- but they fill a cool, thematic niche.***

What would you (the players) like to see as a 2pc Monster Helm/Ability Altering Weapon bonus?

I think it'd be fun if there was a set that made more of your attacks deal a certain kind of elemental damage (like for sorcs it'd convert the undaunted orb to lightning rather than magic, for dragonknights it'd be fire, etc). I imagine that could synergize well with class sets if your setup lacks a lot of your class damage type.

I also like to idea to have a set that will autocast a single class buff skill, without the player having to slot it. That could help take the load off of a bar, especially for upcoming scribing skills.

Huh. That's an interesting concept! I was just thinking about a Monster Set/Class Ability Altering Weapon that would give a little extra Crit, Pen, and Power to your class abilities (to make up for the lower power/crit from Innate and Claw). But your idea is pretty creative.

The addition of scribing also brings the possibility of new ability altering weapons for the scribing skills, thus increasing the odds of a new arena or mini trial, praise be.

As long as one class is not stuck with a downside when the others aren't, like there currently is with Class Mastery from Scribing.

You're talking about the snare in exchange for 30,000 armor. Yeah- that might need to be reworked. But 30,000 extra armor is way too powerful to run around with anyway. Maybe rework it for an extra penetration boost or something. I didn't see any class mastery skills that gave extra pen.

30,000 armor is also almost never going to be fully used except for bash calculations.

A huge snare, on the other hand, is very likely always going to be applied in full.

If they can’t find a way to give a benefit (especially one that won’t always see its full effectiveness) without a large drawback (which almost always will), whereas other classes only get benefits (if more modest), they need to rework either the numbers or the concept.

ETA: Pen could work, yes, as long as the numbers aren’t so great as to require the snare. Just like armor, pen also has a cap, so having too much of it becomes very ineffective after a certain point.
