Disappearing Grand Master Blacksmithing Station

After placing a Grand Master Blacksmithing Station in my house, upon subsequent visits it is INVISIBLE to some of my characters (including my main). Some characters can see parts of it (the tools and papers that are on top of it), and other characters can't see any of it. Everyone can interact with it, whether or not they see it. I've tried disabling all add-ons; made no difference.

I had this same thing happen with the Grand Master Clothier station in two different houses a couple weeks back. Definitely a bug.

Mine in one of my houses did that too - hmm, which house was it.... Coldharbour Surreal Estate. I had to move it at a slight angle between Jewelry and Clothing, and now it's fine.

Those stations get parts added/revealed as you add more sets. Are the visible pieces all “upgrade” parts?

On reflection, it appears that the complete station is still under the 30 set mark, so that can’t be true.

Having the same problem with my master blacksmithing station.
Oddly enough guests can see it just fine, only my characters can't see it.
It goes invisible till I put it away and then replace, but the first time I fast travel and come back to the house it is invisible again. PS NA.

Ditto on mine and a couple or three bug reports with screenshots duly submitted (no response thus far). My initial thought is that there is something unique to that station (it doesn't happen with the others) which causes it to not render when you initially spawn inside the same space as the station. I tend to log out inside the house where they are placed, so it isn't there when I log in (it's interactable and fully functional, though), but if I step out to do something and then return, it renders fine. It might also have something to do with the number of attuned stations it's been fed. I've got one attuned set inside mine (working on grinding the Master Writs for more), so someone who has fed in enough to trigger one of the visual upgrades may not be experiencing that issue.

Well, I had upwards of 20 item sets to "feed" the stations. And that one station, in that one house, is the only one I had a problem with.

I'd suggest giving it more space between it and other stations/furnishings. I know it showed as green placement when I first put it in the house, but moving it a bit further away from the others certainly fixed it permanently (um, well "permanently so far"....)

One of my guildies has his tables there and I often go to do the master writs for IC and the like there.

Never had a problem.

Same problem here, only with the blacksmithing one. I have 3 sets loaded so far, and moving it around a little doesn't seem to matter. It's only a visual glitch, however - I can still activate and use it. It's probably some issue with the model they'll have to fix, I doubt it's anything we're doing.

Did anyone ever figure out a fix for this issue? Mine is disappearing too. I can still use it and everything is fine that way. But I'd like to be able to see it. My master blacksmithing station looks just like the pictures the OP posted.

There is no fix, but what you need to do is move it slightly, then come back later and see if you can still see it. Eventually you'll find a position where it no longer disappears.

I'll jump back in and agree that moving the station seems to fix the issue. Rather than having it pushed as far back toward a wall as I could get while still getting the green placement aura, I pulled it a couple or three ticks away from anything else close by (walls and a crafted bookcase) and the problem went away. It's possible that the original problem got fixed and wasn't in earlier patch notes (it happens), but eliminating the possibilities which are under your control is a good first step.

Last I recall, the issue is that the "moderately attuned" skin (or was it the stage prior? can't remember) was prone to this everlasting bug. But after a while, moving up to the next skin by feeding more tables into it makes the problem go away. I used to have the same bug, but eventually after feeding more sets into it, the problem resolved itself.

It has to be tied to the number of sets (or lack thereof) that have been added to it. My grandmaster station was always mostly invisible every time I went to that home for the first time in a gaming session. But since I have exceeded 30 some sets, I have not seen the station disappear for any character.

i used to have this problem with the disappearing station, but lately it's been visible without fail. i had 19 sets in it i think, and i now have 23. so it's on the lowest level and it's appearing ok. i guess zos fixed it? or they fixed something housing related that was affecting it. dunno. i searched in the patch notes and didn't find anything about fixing the station, but maybe i missed it

I have four sets fed into my master crafting stations and have the disappearing bug problem. I'm not going to invest in any more either. I'm only using the master crafting stations so I don't have to store the attunable stations we get as rewards.

At least they haven't shut down the thread yet for being too old. As it's an ongoing issue the thread should remain open until ZOS fixes the bug.

this... they just locked another thread that was only a year old with helpful and relevant information on a bugged quest that is STILL bugged over a year later... if they aren't going to fix the things, why keep us from being able to help each other out on them?
