Anyone else getting tired of all the disconnects and booted from server lately?

PS5, I have not had any disconnects on my PS5 until about a month ago. It's getting to where I cannot even run a dungeon that takes a while or play in Cyrodill in the evening when there is a queue. Originally I could just log right back in, then it was I had to restart my console and in the last few days I've just gotten booted from the server and cannot get back ingame at all. This is making the game unplayable for anything that takes time. It's making me wonder why I am paying for something I cannot play.

It's PC NA too. Since U41 disconnecting is a serious problem. It got worse when the PTS went live.

I'm sure ZoS is working on it but it is getting annoying and I'm just venting. There doesn't seem to be any patterns to it but it is getting worse. Just about everyone in my guilds that I play with are having the same problem. Had a guy take a scroll the other day and DC'd was not a happy camper.

It is happening often to me too on PC/NA. I also have to reboot my computer before the game will allow me to log back in. It is really annoying.

PC/NA player here; I had this happen to me yesterday morning. I was in Cyrodiil doing some basic defense at Sejanus outpost, but started seeing some lagginess when I was trying to fire off an ult. I then noticed that everyone was "frozen," then got booted with "an error has occured - please wait a few moments before logging in again" message. This specific issue has occurred for me randomly over the past week, and only in Cyro for some reason.

I had errands to run, so I just shut the computer off and went out to take care of business.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this problem. Disconnects are very frustrating. However, on PCNA, my game is running smoothly. Logging out causes my client to crash sometimes, but that is probably due to addons I use to give ESO a contemporary UI.

Seems it is disconnecting when zone swapping or logging out after uploading changes to the mainframe
If I don't do any kills I have no problem

This. Also PC EU. In fact, the game is running like a much faster top on my new machine.

It's been tolerable for me until the emergency downtime to address the PTS/Live interface. Whatever changes they made during that patch has made my lag, crashes, skill disconnects, and rubberbanding exponentially worse.... especially in Cyrodiil.

I'm on PC and I'm with you 100% on this. Its growing progressively more intolerable

Same. Last couple days I’ve had rough patches where the game animation looks like claymation.

During peak playing times I find I get disconnected when zoning into busy places like Vivec City or Leyawiin. This used to happen a bit during the first weekend of a big event, but I find it's been happening a lot more recently, and even now at the tail end of the event.

Are any of you American? I have this error since two years ago. I think it occurs when there are too many people and the server will kick out those people have poorer network. I always have 280+ ping in Australia, when American awake, it will get worse and have a higher chance to get kicked in some areas such as geysers recently.

I've started getting disconnects when changing zones.
Had similar experience on previous PTS for current patch too.

Ps5 eu. From the last patch, eso became unplayable for the continue disconnection, not only when changing zone but also during trial (not funny when you are trying to do progress), anchors or boss (less funny when in 18 days if event you cannot find all the rare motifs spending a lot of time in grinding!!!). Everything since this event is started is AWFUL, and what did Zos for us expierencing all this problem in console? Absolutely nothing. This is unrespectful for ppl who spend a lot of money in this game, exactly like pc gamer.
Where are you @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Bill and the other??

US citizen, playing from US southwest, quite a long way from the NA server, much less the EU one. My ping (as shown in game) is improved on the new machine too - from 999+ most of the time, down to 600 or so in the middle of Vivec this morning (new network adapter, Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Controller).

I was having this problem for months, long before update 41. My friend and I spent ages trying to work out what the issue was because it just started happening one day. We were confused because we couldn't see a pattern to the crashing it was totally random. I spent weeks taking addons on and off trying to single out which one was causing it because that is what we suspected was behind it. It was happening when I played through steam and the desktop launcher and it was also happening if I played via Epic. My husband let me install ESO on his works laptop that had nevet had an addon near it and it kept doing it. It was actually my internet causng it. It runs everything else fine but randomly crashes on ESO, sometimes I can play for a few hours nefore it crashes and other times it can be every few minutes. We have a backup internet and I can play on that crash free but it is slow and laggy.

If it was your internet, then everything else you were running would have been affected as well.

The fact that it's only ESO that has problems with your internet means that it is in fact, an ESO problem.

The fact that it's only ESO that has problems with your internet means that it is in fact, an ESO problem.

Or a network issue. Different things run along different routes of the network. Sometimes if you contact your ISP it can arrange to re-route you to avoid any problem hops.

Yep. While I was only booted twice last week it's still annoying. I'm still dealing with serious lag, though.

My game as well has been running just fine for the most part. I think I've had one or two disconnects since U41 and that was only just after it.

It's been happening to me, sometimes when I try to change zones. Sometimes it's random, though, as well.

I play like a stop motion animation these days.

I fire off an attack and the opponent just teleports, wait its just lag.

Just doing anything takes 1 second to activate, how can you stay in love with a game that just keeps getting worst to play every time they make it better.

Ps5 player here, and in asia.

I'm getting it not just in PVP it's random and it's sudden. No lag, no slow animations. I can be in a dead zone with hardly any people and open my option menu and bam.

Yesterday I was kicked right after logging in for the first time, within a minute. Then twice while running Dread Cellar. All within the span of about an hour and half. I did not PVP at all. Luckily it was a normal dungeon but how can a person run heals or a tank on a moderately difficult Vet setting where "lives" depend on you lol.
