TTC Help?

Greetings. Hope someone can help with a issue that has left me confused.
TTC shows up in tool tip (All tool tips) as [no TTC price].
I have the latest version. I load and up date my TTC.exe on my desktop daily. TTC website shows up fine and has all prices.
I have scanned all my guild stores and several other guild traders. My MM is working properly. I have listed items and had sales since this has started.

Not sure if this matters, but was on a social ban due to a guild mass mail (which I have fixed that addon), and TTC updated on 17th which was the same day my ban was up.
My TTC was working fine before my ban and before the PTS mess and server shutdown a few days ago.
I recently just came back to game after 9+mo absence and have gone thru and up dated my add ons.

I have gone to ESOUI and looked to see if there was any comments on this or if I was missing anything, and don't think I am.

Ok, guess I didn't figure it out. Worked one day and back to "[No TTC Price]" on all items. Here is the bug report from "BugCatcher" if it helps and if anyone knows how I can fix this. Thank you VERY much!

To your problem:
I'd try to disable all my other addons first and only test with TTC.
If this does not fix the bug then report it here:

If it fixes the isse try to enable other addons again, one after another.
You can use "Addon Selector" addon to save the before enabled addons (where the error happened) as a profile/pack.
And then load that and disable upper half, reloadui and test again, and repeat that (next half disabled) until the error is gone.
Then report the addons being the culprit to the addon dev of TTC (https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info1245-TamrielTradeCentre.html#comments) and the other addon.

About BugEater and other bug/lua error hidding addons
Forgive me ranting about that again and again but it simply sucks that so many players do not undertand it:

Disable addons like BugCatcher! They suppress error messages and just make you think stuff works, where it doesn't
Report bugs to the addon devs and do not let them silently hide...

If 1 error occurs, following code often neither works properly, so ANY error means: You need to do something against that.
Just hiding it will not help at all

You will get into more trouble as any code line called after that error might be just not working as expected and showing you any wrong information or even make the total game go wrong, invalidating your SavedVariables (partially) and so on.

If you get a bug, report it like described here:

And disable the buggy addon then until it get's fixed, or go on using it but at least do a /reloadui before that.
If the error occurs again, disable the addon then unless you know what you do and can cleary tell it does not break anything else (some errors e.g are only happening if you move the mouse above something and it tries to show an extra tooltip -> You can prevent it by moving the mouse there then, and thus can go on using the addon normally for everythign else).

Thank you for supporting us addon developers by telling ppl to get rid of those bug catcher and suppresser addons....
It makes so many trouble and costs us hundreds of hours of wrong spend time to get to the point where we can finaly fix things, because ppl use those addons and the actual real error was hidden minutes before the reported error occurs -> which was a following error of any other addon non mentioned!
-> That's actually why LiDbeugLogger was born, so we can see which addons were loaded and which errors happend "when". All described in the linked post about "how to report an error".

Thank you soooo much for your response.
I will stop using "BugCatcher" asap. Thank you for enlightening me about it. (I am a noob at technical aspects of addons).

I did disable all addons except TTC. (cyxui at ESOUI suggested the same thing. I did leave a post there too).
This did not help. Someone suggested that I run my TTC.exe as administrator. Tried that and no help.
Not sure what to do atm. Suggestions?
And thank you again so much for your time and helping me understand addons better.

I disabled BugCatcher. I also checked my firewall to insure TTC.exe was being allowed.
Logged in and got this error msg. Opened TTC.exe straight from game file in my addon folder. Still same thing.
Perhaps just do a complete uninstall and reinstall TTC? Kinda ready to just say "oh well". Been gone for 9-12 months, and all my addons were messed up when first logged in. I was able to get them all straight except TTC and Greymind Quick Slot.
I really do appreciate the patience and help.

That error says that TTC was not run before your eso game was started and thus it could not update the files properly.
TTC saves the "updated state" by running the client.exe file in live/AddOns/TamrielTradeCenter/client/client.exe to your live/SavedVariables/TamrielTradeCenter.lua and to other files.
So always make that client.exe run before the game starts.
The client should show you then if download the pricing files worked or not
-> That updates the PriceTable*.lua and ItemLookup*.lua files in your live/AddOns/TamrielTradeCenter folder then and also uploads your guild listings (if you enabled that in the TTC addon settings) to the TTC servers (from your SavedVariables file as addons can only store ingame data in there -> on reloadui/logout/quit).

I'd do the following:
1. Make sure you find the correct addons folder, the one the game thinks is the correct:

2. Logout and close the game client and launcher!
3. Backup and afterwards delete the files and folders:
live/AddOns/TamrielTradeCenter
live/SavedVariables/TamrielTradeCenter.lua

4. Download the TTC addon new from:
https://eu.tamrieltradecentre.com/download
Replace the eu. with na. if you play on the North American server!

5. Extract the zip file contents to live/AddOns so you have live/AddOns/TamrielTradeCenter in the end with the TamrielTradeCenter.txt in there and the other files+ subfolders client etc.
6. Allow that folder live/AddOns/TamrielTradeCenter in your Antivirus tools!
7. Allow the file live/AddOns/TamrielTradeCenter/client/client.exe in yoru Antivirus tools!
8. Allow the folder live/SavedVariables in yoru Antivirus tools!
9. Start the TTC client at live/AddOns/TamrielTradeCenter/client/client.exe and let it update and download the prices
10. You should see files named PriceTable*.lua and ItemLookup*.lua in live/AddOns/TamrielTradeCenter now with last changed date and time as your client was running
11. Close the ttc client or keep it running if you want it to uplod your listings automatically
12. Login and try if it works now
13. Each time you run the game or update the addon TTC (next day e.g.) run the client.exe again (having the game closed!!!)
Else it cannot update the savedvariables files and will always tell you your price data is old or TTC client was not executed properly!

Make ure to update addons and libraries once a day, at best use Minion the addon manager to do that before game starting, then run ttc client.exe, then start ESO.

Man, thank you so much!!
I did find the similar info on ESO website, but I followed your instructions. FYI, I am not a total noob at addons, as I have been here since beta, and have modded my games going back to TES-3, but I don't know the notebook coding and technical stuff of writing and creating mods. Lol.

So...... I followed all the info on deleting TTC completely, I have the TTC website bookmarked. I have been using this addon for years, that's why I'm confused now.

Downloaded AddOn from website to proper folder. Unzipped all in folder. Went to TTC folder, opened it and ran TTC client, and got this pop up.

But it is in the right location-

Went back and redid all steps again, double checking each stage. Same result. I know this will turn out to be something simple and silly probably. I also read your article on ESOUI. That was an incredible article and I used it to double check myself.

I have checked firewall and antivirus software. All is good there.
So, any idea what I have done wrong or what is causing this to say wrong location?

In your screenshot the folder is live/AddOns/TamrielTradeCenter/TamrielTradeCenter !!!
You got a duplicate folder there, addons must be in live/AddOns/<Addon folder name>
No extra additional <Addon Folder name> as subfolder in there.

It got to look like this:

If you extract zip files of addons manually always make sure you directly extract "only the contents of the zip" to live/AddOns and do NOT create a new subfolder with the name of the zip file or add any additional folders.

Ok!!!
Fixed extra folder, Client.exe launched fine, updated and synched, launched game, tool tip still says [No TTC Price],
but thats ok. I rescanned mu guild store and my other guilds. Logged out, and will just give it time. I got my other addons working properly. Gonna try my new version of Godsend in few days. I'll be going in the hospital for a week or two so a social ban won't matter. LOL.

Anyway, thank you so much for the help and spotting that extra folder. I will just give it time on the TTC and see how it works after I get out of hospital in couple weeks. I will drop a note then if it still the same.

@Baertram, just want to add that is people like you that make ESO's community base the best in all gaming.
