Quest-line Trophies POINTLESS

Their purpose? Right now they're just taking valuable space. Should I trash them or save them? Anyone REALLY know??

This is also something I'd like to know about. What's the point of these "Trophy" items. At first I thought maybe I could use them as emotes, or just fun little gestures, you can even equip them into your quickslots. And they "do" say "Use" on the items.

So, seriously, why shouldn't players just trash these items? It doesn't really seem like they're that useful. The only reason can see maybe hanging onto them is if somewhere down the road they become useful in a quest or something.

It's definitely taking up inventory space, AND bank space.

You can use the items for specific effects, and there are other things go they can be used for (I've specifically heard about a shrine in Cyrodiil that makes use of them).

Explore. Try things. Anything you believe to be useless probably isn't.

I've read about a few things of such but that's pertaining to PvP trophies.

Nope. I've specifically heard about the Bear Trap coming in handy for that one.

Their is just not enough info out there about ESO yet. Just searched for the Bear Trap and can't find anything

I don't have one of these yet, but since they are 'trophies' is it possible this is something that might be able to be displayed in housing down the road?

I have the beat trap. You can equipt it and use it to set a trap. They look to be usefull, sort off. I hav 't tried it all to well.

I just wish they didn't take up an actual inventory slot ...

My PvP guild uses a trophy you get, the ones that creates a large beam of light around you, in PvP.
Either to mark positions or to lure enemies into ambushes.
Mostly it kinda sorta ends up doing both things at once......

Oh, please dont remind me about that. I made a mistake in beta that result in granting me this item. This is just gross, what the devs was thinking?

If you have the room, whip up an alt and send all your saved bits to them until you find out if you need them.

one of the trophies is the skeleton costume XD
most of them just seem to be a cool little gimmic, and like the crow one you could use it like on GW2 when you throw down your flag after killing someone in pvp, except crows fly down and feast on your foe XD

I like the silly trophy items, especially the meat bag. Serves no other purpose other than for you to have fun with and giggle at it, maybe make a couple of other people giggle too. I want more trophies, these are fun items and I want more of them!

I have an alt that I store trophies in, waiting for the day of housing.

Trophies are great shenanigans. Lay down a bear trap in PvP, sure it does nothing but when good players see it it's funny to watch them veer off the path to avoid an object that does nothing!

Or how about using Alemexia's Light! People think I got some crazy version of mage light going on, or 6 abilities on one bar.

My personal favorite is the fetish of anger, I look over-the-top badass with flaming licks of fire.

I definitely agree though that trophies need separate storage to not take up space, because I'm probably running around 15-20 trophies right now.
