NPC games, RNG, and AI. A cruel joke.

Its been several weeks now of playing these games, and its not just "bad luck." Today confirmed it for me. Played the 3 "Across the Continent" matches and in 2 of those 3 this happened multiple times:

I had 2 agents up. Forest Wraith and Prowling Shadow, Karth Man-Hunter and Prowling Shadow, Oathman and Man-Hunter, and Firesong Haruspex and Man-Hunter. As soon as I pulled the contract agent, it was replaced by Black Sacrament. "But of course," I said to myself expecting to lose one of my agents. Then the "totally random bad luck" occurred.

On the NPC's turn, the NPC did NOT take Black Sacrament. Instead, the NPC replaced the Black Sacrament card, either through a combination of 2 Sleight of Hand cards, a card from the tavern, or through the Druid patron. Guess what card replaced Black Sacrament, every single time? AMBUSH.

This is beyond the "Oh look, Midnight Raid. Again," and "Oh wow, you just pulled Ebony Mine 3 times in a row." Do the devs really expect us to believe this is random?

i hardly ever play NPC matches using anything other than red eagle + rahjin because the AI is just so poor and predictable lol

most of my matches i usually end up winning 40-50 prestige to the NPCs 20 or less (depends on how many rahjin agents i have)

been many a times the NPC just ends up removing all of the cards from their own deck if they get any of the reach agents, and i see them doing dumb stuff like converting a midnight raid to writ of coin with the treasury lol

never really seen anything unusual about the way the cards get pulled in to the tavern

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

I've had many games where I plan to rely on a contract agent instead of doing something else and a Black Sacrament appears immediately as the revealed card. I'm not one to think that there are some safety rails built into the RNG, but it technically is possible.
    Don't tank

So have I, but this was the NPC not using Black Sacrament (which I would have, as I think most players would) but choosing to discard Black Sacrament, then have it replaced by Ambush to wipe both of my agents. Not a math guy, but I assume the odds are quite long for that to occur once, let alone 4 times.
