price of items for sale

Don't you think that the items for sale that are dropped from mobs have too low a price? A total of 9 gold, provided that you collect 200, the maximum that you will get from this is only 1800 gold. Even by the standards of the start of the game, this is a very low price. So it turns out that in fact these items in the game are useless and no one even pays attention to them. Then why do they even need them? In this regard, the survey phm4z148kyfq.png

Yes, the price should be raised so that the item would stop being useless and just clog up the loot window.

It is better to remove such items from the game altogether, so as not to clog the windows with loot

Sadly, it's a cliche that MMOs will have mobs drop completely useless items that clog your inventory and are worth a pittance.

If there only purpose is to be sold for gold, just have the mobs drop the gold and get rid of the items. That said they are not completely useless I find they cover my repair bills, just get rid of the vendor-ing step.

They aren’t useless. All 6 mob parts (husk, roots, elemental, etc) are called for by two different crow dailies in Clockwork zone. The coffer can give the ebonshadow motif.

It is a really quick daily, perfect for anniversary event like now. Click on crow, take quest, turn in. Even with time to zone there, not even 1 min. I save one stack of each mob part and or ornates, just to do quick crow dailies whenever feel worth doing.

If they did that, then the value wouldn't be fixed. Straight up Gold Drops can be increased with CP skills. But vendor drops maintain a fixed value that isn't affected by it.

Counter to this excuse, make it like every other quest and tell you to kill something that drops X, or just change the requested items to something like a soul gem or some other equally easy to acquire yet useful item.

Just more garbage in a game bloated full of garbage designed to fill up the highly limited inventory space.

I would like to see them increased in value abit as of right now they are not even worth picking up at all Better solution would be to just remove all these items from the game and add their worth in gold to the loot table instead but if they have tobe here I'd rather it was worth the pain of picking them up

Raised value would be nice for newbies but PC/NA already has a lot of inflation.

No, let it be as it is. They should be useless.
I am taking the *No* option, though it is not the option I would have preferred, because I don't like the *They should be useless.* part. A simple *No, let them be as they are.* option would have been the one for me, because in my opinion they are not useless.

    Why?

I have been playing MMOs for more than 20 years now and in everyone of them there were and are so called *trash* items. Those items have 2 sometimes 3 purposes:
    1. Filling the loottable with items, so that players may get something from killing NPCs/Mobs etc. in addition to other loot. Imagine if you are farming for - lets say - armor or weapons and those DO NOT drop always from NPCs, you would have no loot if there were no trash, loottable filling, items! That would be a bit frustrating, wouldn't it?
    2. Generating a small/reasonable amount of gold for players who are killing stuff. Since those items drop nearly from everything the amount of gold they can be sold for is always low, because the sheer mass/amount of items looted generates tons of gold.
    3. Those items are sometimes also used for certain quests. Jacozilla gave an example for ESO.

I for example, mark those items as *Junk*, so that they are listed under Junk in my inventory. Then, while playing, I collect a full batch of the most common trash drops in ESO and sell it to vendors. By doing so, I get from time to time a nice amount of gold ;) .
Some may now say that this clutters the inventory. You may be right about that if you don't have ESO+ or if you have other stuff like for example 100 pieces of equipment for countless setups, for uses in every situation you could imagine. But since I am ESO+ and I only need a maximum of 2 differents setups (PvE and PvP), I don't have that problem. I do have enough space to collect, sell and earn some gold, just while I am playing  .

I'm opting for "no", but I also think that they aren't useless, because they can always be sold for gold.

In German there is a saying: "Kleinvieh macht auch Mist.".

The direct translation may be: small livestock also produces dung. But the meaning is something like: every little thing helps.

It's like putting all the coins you get into a big bottle. And when this bottle is finally full and you take it to the bank you realize that those coins with little value each accumulated to several hundred Euros altogether.

There is also another saying: "Wer den Pfennig nicht ehrt, ist des Talers nicht wert." - "Take care of the pence and the pounds will care for themselves." :)

Just sell when you manage your inventory.

As long as items like this can stack and you can sell them to any vendor in game, then it doesn't matter.

Purchase an Assistant (Merchant) from Crown Store and you will even be able to sell all junk item as you are out on your adventure. It is worse if you get loot that have low value from PvP where you can't use any Assistant to move those items to Bank or Merchant until you get to your main keep or find vendors in Cyrodiil map.

Small amount of Gold adds up fast if you actually go to hubs where those vendors exist to sell those.

Don't forget that you can also use in game mail system to send those item to a friend/guild member you trust or to use RTS (Return to Sender) and later just collect those items and sell them when you are at a hub with vendors.

Try to play any ARPG and you will fast learn that items like this is not any issue in this game as you have options to actually select what to pick from loot container (use add on to filter what you loot, if you play on PC). There are even add on that can auto mark it as trash/junk item and auto sell those item when you interact with a merchant vendor.

If you steal items then you have a limit of how much you can sell to Fence or Launder at Fence before each daily reset, so there you would want to be more careful to only pick up items with some worth in Gold, but even that can be done with tools that exist in game from addons that can filter to only pick up items above a certain value.

It was already explained: these items are used for a daily quest, so removing them is not that great (I prefer to have a stack in the bank to immediately finish a quest, instead of running other types of quests).

Increasing their price is also not great, since the game doesn't have many gold sinks, and these items do add up a decent amount of gold (like just running geysers in a group gives you a full stack in half an hour). It might not be much for any long time player, but for a newbie it's decent gold (if you add up all the gold you get from these geysers).

And yes I do collect these. I have more than enough gold, but getting additional 30-50k gold per hour from various sources when farming is nothing to scoff at.

increasing the value of these will just further saturate the quantity of gold in the game, because this is just direct gold production

compared to other sources of gold production, they seem about right

the value of items on guild stores are always going to fluctuate, but adding more gold production to the game wont help lower those prices or make you richer in the long term lol

I need more money. I just started again and need all the cash I can get. I couldn't even afford to increase my bag space yesterday.
