not able to complete/leave tutorial

after the issue with the PC NA and PCS yesterday I decided to pay and create a new account (mar0126). However on both the PC NA and Eu servers I can not enter the Keywright Gallery. I can read the books but not open the doors leading to the gallery. As this is a new account not affected by yesterday's problem how come the game is not accessible.

Ashnarug✭✭✭maintenance completed, still cannot open the door. Running repair and see if it can do something. Didn't change anything. Uninstalled PTS, no change. So now I have uninstalled the game and I am currently reinstalling the game. Ashnarug✭✭✭this morning I created a new character after deleting the one created yesterday (just if by any chance yesterday's maintenance and crash of the PTS was the issue), but no, the doors are still closed.
Even tried disabling my Norton Firewall - did nothing.
so on my account "mar0126" I have two Khajiiti nightblades (PC NA Ashni Urjani and PC Eu Kiseenaji-la) stuck at the bottom of the stairs after defeating Shyazzel the Traveler. As this is a new account created yesterday I can't even skip the tutorial.

This would mean making a new toon which you shouldnt have to but might be a workaround0 -

✭This hardly will help, but it takes less than two minutes to try.
your ESO settings are stored in C:\Users\localuser\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live folder
1) rename Addons folder into _Addons to be sure Addons are not affecting
2) rename UserSettings.txt into UserSettings.bak (in case keyboard mapping were botched)
3) rename ShaderCache.cooked into ShaderCache.bak (in case Shaders went wrong - this CAN cause the inability to use some of ingame controls)
4) launch the game. It will re-create the Addons folder and 2 files you have renamed.
Try logging in, loading a character and then opening that door.
If this does not help you can try to create another character and select to skip tutorial.PC EU0 -

Their compass pin isn't pointing to that door. The hallway you're in is horseshoe shaped. The door on the other end of the horseshoe should be useable.

Wow! that worked. This is the first time since 8 March 2021 that I had to used the other door. Norianwe did not go to the centre of the room but stayed close to the Khenarthi's Roost gate (the only available gate even though the game I bought for this new account has 7 chapters included.
Thank you Kevin for your help. I thought I tried the other door yesterday but maybe I was wrong.
