They need to address the issue and investigate internally how they allowed this to happen and if someone internally added it intentionally and if it’s been used in the past to illegally add currency. Then track down the affected accounts, reverse the transactions and potentially roll back the server.
That takes a bit and their ICU team I am sure is ceaselessly working until it’s back up.0 -

That would be some spicy drama if that were the case. I was a GM and Engineer on an MMO 20 years ago and know of at least 2 staff members that got currency into the Live server. One was on accident and the other was malicious intent where they gave themselves and friends gold and items. This sort of thing can definitely happen behind the scenes.PC NA0 -
