Just the special once in a lifetime 10 year anniversary ones.

Did they say anywhere that these pages will be forever removed from the game after the event? It just says they are earned during the jubilee event so it is safe to assume they will be back next year. So kind of FOMO but not really imo.

Sort of a hard poll to answer
Most style pages I don't care about because I'll never wear them
Just because they are rare does not mean I will care about them
I don't care if I ever fill a sticker book
I care about style pages that I happen to like and would wear, and that's it

Getting style pages that actually sell are beneficial

Sometimes I get pages I like the look of so I learn them

    Those I consider a bonus

I wish there was an "other" option.

For me, personally? No, not really. I have four characters, and am very pleased with their ensemble I put together. I also have a GMC (Grand Master Crafter), so I'm not collecting motifs either.

However, I am hoarding every style page and motif I get this event, as our Guild is having an exchange at the end of it, and I plan on doing a big giveaway to all of our members. Got some very rare and pricey ones too.

So, for me, no, I don't collect these things. But for my awesome Guildmates, yes, I like being able to do giveaways.

I was a beta tester. Ten years later, I'm still here, having spent a lot of time and real money supporting this game. Therefore it's not unreasonable to think I should get some kind of reward for my loyalty. So YES, the event style pages are important, if only symbolically.

If I had my way, the event pages that everyone is frantically farming for, would be acquired by one or more of the following means:

    - Achievement rewards acquired by meeting a specific condition, instead of RNG.
    - Buyable with tickets from the Impresario.
    - Simply GIVEN TO PLAYERS in thanks for ten years of us collectively supporting ESO.

In all cases, the point is that the players KNOW they can get the event style pages, instead of being victims of math and bad development decisions.

Too bad there's no "it's complicated" response. I'm mostly in the "don't much care" column, and it's pretty much because I don't use them. It's not that I don't have them in my collections, but only that I don't apply them. Might have done it once to proc an achievement, though.

My general approach is to collect (but not use) style pages until I either collect all of them, or I'm only missing one or two. At that point, the whole style goes into the collections, sometimes attached to a short shopping trip (gold, not event tickets). Duplicates tend to get sold/given away/put in a Guild Bank, and I've destroyed a few that weren't worth the bother of listing on a guild trader or cluttering up the Guild Bank. Some folks are into the fashion end-game, but I'm not one of them. Give me an outfit style that I like and we can talk; most aren't thrilling for anything other than being able to say, "I collected that."
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

    I disagree.

    It's about me me me.

Like I'm returning after a long absence and loving arcanist. The collector's edition style suits them nicely but doesn't include weapons.

Even knowing that prices would drop over the course of this event, I went ahead and bought the staves motif for Scribes of Mora when I saw it at a good price because I play in third person so see my own character.

The visual upgrade was worth it for me.

Style pages are selfish, with a motif I can make armor for anyone with the look that they want... a Style page, I can make my outfit look special... but I can't help anyone else look that way...

ESO fashion is the only reason I get out of bed in the morning, and into bed in the evening. I guess that's mostly related to server timing and quests refreshing, though, and not as much about the fashion. Also I need to sleep and eat, so those things are all mixed in there. All in all, it's a pretty full life.

As said many times, sorry for the repeat: I just chill in ESO, based on mood of the moment. This way to play excludes grinding. If items I like come to me on their own while doing what I like to do, nice, otherwise, I don't care. It's very comfortable. o:)

for actual use, the only ones i really care about are weapons, since all of my characters run polymorphs weapons are the only style i can customize that is actually seen

because im a collector though, i do want to get all of them so yes its important for collecting, not for use lol

Judging by the forums, I must be the only person on the planet that could care less about style pages. Who's with me!!

I'm with you. I can understand that if there's some style page or furnishing item that you really want, you'll grind for it. But especially since this event started, the levels of FOMO I'm seeing and the extreme lengths people go to to get stuff, the degree of anxiety about 'lost' items due to server downtime, people going apoplectic (in my mind's eye anyway) about bad RNG .... I find it actually quite disturbing to witness.
Please stop making requests for game features. ZOS have enough bad ideas as it is!

Not really, will only go out of my way to get them if I think they look good, most however I don't ever see myself using in an outfit, so I don't bother with them, no point in getting something that will just sit in my collections for the rest of time.

Fashion is essential in an MMO. And the amount of styles that ESO provides guarantees a wide variety of possible combinations with the outfit system.

I collect them all whenever possible, even if the vast majority are not useful to me. But in roleplay, if I have to create a one shot character, I like to use styles that I would never use on my main characters.

Outfit styles also offer a wide variety of faction-specific armor.

I don't know how many roleplay characters I have played anymore... Besides my permanent characters, I have had many one shots. And all these one shots used varied styles. Looking at the screens, I am proud of this visual collection.

And when I roleplay or just wander around during classic gameplay sessions (PvE/PvP), I like to see players who stand out from the crowd and don't look like a copy of another player.

I use it every October for my zombie aesthetic costume. Ugly color bath towel + zombie personality+ that skin that makes you look like a zombie+ messy hair style. So fun. Especially when someone dies in Cyrodiil and you do the eat emote on their dead body.

Talking about the gold pages, yes? They are, but not for their own sake, and not so much I'd be willing to farm ceaselessly for a week. I only pursue the ones I love. I can't imagine outfitting certain characters without Knight of the Circle or Gloamsedge.
