I just watched the video about Scribing and I just have to say WOW!
I've been waiting for so many years for this. I don't know if I am most happy about the skill crafting or to just have new animations. This will increase the ability to make each character unique.

One could dream that they would add more personalities/animations for how your character wields/use weapons. Maybe in the future? =)

I'm honestly very impressed about Scribing as a feature. This is basically Spellcrafting from 2014 just with a less stylistic interface. The different options are great, the amount of customization is great and the best thing: they can just add new skills to this feature each DLC or Chapter like they usually do with other features. This system might be the biggest and most important combat-related thing we've ever gotten and from this point on it's just getting bigger and better. Really impressive and I'm so happy that they finally dared to implement this.

This is the video by the way:

Totally agree! Imagine if they take personalities and mounts etc into scribiing as well. That would be a dream come true

4000 possible combinations... that sounds almost overwhelming. :)

I'm trying not to get too hyped for this. I need to see precisely what our characters have to do to get Scribing. Is there a big skill tree, like Antiquities, that we have to open up on every character that we want to use Scribing? How do we get the scripts? Are there drops from particular bosses, with RNG involved? That style of thing.

Absolutely true. Do we have an infinite task to level up/ acquire these on every character? I am a bit worried by the time this takes.

Snow and ice and loaded dice, the Wizard lives alone.

Just remember! You have only 5 slots and an ultimate on one bar and the same on the other, that means you have to give up a slot so make sure when you build the new skill that it can do the same as the one that it replaces or rearrange to accommodate.
