Anniversary Event big letdown

Was very disappointed with this years anniversary event. The mount you can "earn" actually costs you a minimum of 25 tickets which is not a small amount. The special drops are so hard to get that I've spent over 5 hours farming one and doing so in groups that are usually full, in all that time one person has got the style page. Events are supposed to be fun not a pointless grind. I dont know who thought these were good ideas for a momentous decade anniversary but it should be fun, instead it just left me disappointed.

really wish I could have posted a polling option. It would be interesting to see how long it took people to get each Item (if they managed to get it at all)

You get one of the mount fragments each day you participate in the event, so while you are right 20 daily fragments don't equal the 25 needed for the mount still you only need to buy 5. Still poor form requiring *any* purchase to get the mount.

What is ruining it for me is the horrible drop rate for limited time pages.

It's a shame because I think the purple box rewards are pretty good. And that's getting overshadowed by the grind for the event pages. Maybe in part because the time sync for the grind is taking so much effort the box count people can get is being affected. I don't know. I had been looking forward to this and I'm just really disappointed.

I don't know what else I can add that hasn't already been said. I just hope they take our feedback to heart and do something to make this right.

I got the fishing node drop first day on my third cast and nothing else sense with days of grinding

Not overly important, but buying 5 daily fragments with tickets will cost 15 tickets in total (not the 25 stated in OP), which is coincidentally almost the amount earned during the additional event week. 🫠😂

I am really not bothered by the style pages for myself but it was a horrible idea, poorly implemented!!

I love this event, I love opening the boxes and I am thoroughly enjoying myself, honestly this is now the ONLY event that the reward boxes even vaguely interest me in getting them.

I feel really sorry for those that fashion and lore are important to, meaning instead of having fun they've had a horrible time chasing very poor drop rates.

I hope that ZoS take note of the miriad of threads on the subject and rethink any future items of this kind!!

The lack of any communication from zos on the overwhelming feedback is compounding the frustration for me.

These are horrible decisions they have made for a celebration which are hated across the board. There will be opportunities to fix the drop rates at least, the mount needing tickets is a different issue but zos going radio silent and ignoring the feedback adds to the bad taste this event has left.

This was my favourite time to play the game and now 400 dolmens in I genuinely can’t stand it.

Yeah, at this point it's clear this was intentional. Some communication would help. I would still be disappointed and frustrated but some explanation might make me less peeved.

welp finally got the style page for the geyser, it only took me over 180 tries....yea way to fail ZOS. Please fire whoever was in charge of this event. And while your at it actually do somthing useful and fix the event start and stop timers to sync with the daily reset timers cause the event timers give everyone on the east coast 3 extra tickets per event.

I've noticed that for the past 3 days, reward chests from dolmen are no longer very rewarding.

• 2 rekuta
• 10 sanded maple
• 1 green recipe

So far I made at about 6 million gold just by selling style pages and recipes And I learnt a lot of new styles. The secret with all events is to sell at the beginning before the prices are dropping. Plus I earned 54 event tickets just for eating cake and got a lot of good material. Don't see any reason to be disappointed.

I make almost that much every week anyway. What I wanted was these unique style pages and I've spent many hours trying for them, and putting in the work and the time, and still missing one. That is a good enough reason for me to be disappointed.

I personally enjoyed it more than another Jester's Festival because of the ability to farm boxes. Not that it didn't have the big mess up with locked accounts in the midst of it. I do think some of the styles needed tweaked on the drop rates or at least have the Geysers and Dolmen drop event boxes from the shells/chests so you at least got loot more often. Sadly I didn't find as many missing motifs as I had hoped, but I did get a few which is cool. I ended up buying enough confetti ahead of time to get the mount yesterday due to the extension. I though I would have an extra one from today but due to the downtime I only had time to get both tickets on my accounts and one writ turn in for the gold box w/ confetti. Luckily it was extra anyway.
