Killing the same WB 100+ times is not a fun way to celebrate the anniversary

ZOS thought it'd be fun. I get their reasoning but really wish they upped the drop rate. Further more. They still have it set so that the top 12 dps can loot a wbs or dolmen boss

You could always do a round and do the other bosses (Wuyuvus is still a pain though).

That just prolongs the suffering because, unless you are amazingly speedy and efficient, you will kill fewer world bosses per hour running all over the island than just camping a single boss.

I'm not sure fun ever really entered into the equation, so much as how it looks when viewed in some kind of spreadsheet measurement of "engagement".

Possibly prolonged but also possibly less suffering overall? Camping at the Queen's Consort would drive me insane. Then again, who am I to say: my method of 6-7 Vvardenfell bosses per day definitely isn't working either.

There reasoning seems like just an excuse to artificially inflate player count for a period which is really what all events do. A lot of players are burnt out from this game and only come back for dailies or events then log out again. It's why a lot of zones look dead when events aren't running.

You only had to kill them 100 times for both drops?

    You got lucky.

I spent more than 20 hours fishing but got the style page.
Now I spend many hours at the evening farming dolmens.
Do Bethesda have any clue how boring it can be fishing for a style page with master angler and all DLC zones finished?
Do Bethesda have any clue how boring dolmens farming can be for me with max CP?
It would have been nice if it was a funny and good event and not the most braindead event I have marked for a few style pages.

No I'm still farming. I have 2/5 drops. Lacking the Geyser Staff and Vvardenfell World Bosses staff and mask.

I'm too busy doing the daily crafting writs on all my characters - for style pages, transmute crystals, perfect roe, chromium plating, dreugh wax, etc. - even to start farming for rare drops.
I'd rather have the crafting rewards than rares anyway.
I might have tried for some of the rares if it didn't demand so much time, though.

You can quit unless you are farming boxes, because even if you do more than 200 WB you won't get the bounded style.

After like 50 dolmens and 50 wbs I'm like you know what I'm good. I don't need these staves or helm. I'm happy with True flame which is what I wanted the most. I'm just leveling FG on characters that need it and going from there.

On the other hand next time ZOS put the loot boxes in the Dolmen chest or you know, get rid of the player cap on looting corpses and maybe making the drop rates not so rare and not making pages bound

This event has just felt so unfulfilling and mediocre. Instead of it being a celebration of 10 years most of us are instead playing waiting simulator at world bosses and geysers because that's where they put all the new things with abhorrently low drop rates.

I enjoy the event but I do agree that there should be more gameplay variety. Every event in ESO these days tends to have the same gameplay: kill WBs, complete delves, pelt people with some sort of flying object. I know it's hard to do but a unique event quest with special gameplay would be nice to have for every unique event at least. Holiday events being unique would be nice as well.

Had these exact same thoughts... trying to get a jubilee box drop at a geyser in summerset is comparable to trying to grab an item on black friday at walmart, just neck and neck with people. Got lucky with the fishing page: maybe 50 casts, and the vvarden page: maybe 80 WBs... but 130+ dolmens and still nothing, and the geyser isn't even worth it...

A simple solution would be to make each wb drop a box only once per day. People would then have to go from wb to wb, zone to zone to farm boxes. It would be a little more work but I think it would be fair for all. I know that this way we would get less boxes per day but come on, there needs to be a limit to obsession.
