Infinite Archive class sets question..

Do I have to play the class to get the class specific set? Or can I play any class and get any of the class sets? Thank you.

You get your class sets first, then after your stickerbook fills for the type of armor dropping in the arc, you begin getting other class sets.

yeah if theres a specific class set you want, ideally you should play that class to fill it out first

for me i played it so much i just played the characters which were the most effective and eventually got all of them lol

working on the style pages now, just finished off the necromancer class style pages a few days ago lol

its a lot easier to farm the archive if you go in with a partner

i run with people a lot, even though i dont need any of the gear and i gladly offer it to those im running with

if you wanted to optimally farm, i would recommend going to an arc 3 clear, this would give you 2 weapons/jewelry and 3 armor drops (if you killed the arc 2 and arc 3 marauder)

so if you run with a partner that is 10 potential drops between the 2 of you, if the other player is willing to give you all the drops, then you would be getting 5 curated and 5 uncurated drops per run

there is 272 total pieces of the class set gear, so doing arc 3 with 2 players would net you ideally up to 10 items per run, which would be, in a best case scenario, 28-30 runs to get everything

if your running entirely by yourself or with companion, then it would take about 55 runs

if you get on leaderboard for solo (no companion runs) then you could get additional noncurated items each week

Wow what a huge waste of time. Got to The Serpent and get destroyed after that with no chance...never did see any of the class equipment...hard pass. Just more ZOS gambling.

Infinite Archive requires rather unique builds. But if you build for it (high health, high recoveries, high armor/spell resist, passive healing), the first couple Arcs are quite easy. For Serpent, are you running and grabbing the pink bubbles he throws out? That will protect you from his explosion. It is a bit of a drawn out fight with adds and totems and bubbles, but as long as you follow mechanics, you'll be fine.

yeah if you dont nuke him down you have to do the phase where you have to grab the pink orbs he throws out

boss-wise i dont really find any of them difficult until your past like arc 6 lol, the trash mobs and marauders are much more of a problem earlier than that

Thanks...really not wanting to have to get a buncha gear just to...get some gear And honestly....I'm just wanting to try it out...too much effort I think.
