Jubilee Steed mount fragments: do you like the way how they are provided?

While the forum boils with RNG discussions, there is another point about rewards that makes me axious a little. The Jubilee Steed mount.
There is a bit new scheme of its delivery. We have to open the boxes and spend tickets to obtain the necessary fragments. Inevitably both.

Nothing new in the parts of the process. We got fragments from event boxes before. We bought parts from Impressario. No problem.
Spending tickets on something we lack from boxes is OK too. I often buy some event style pages if RNG wasn't kind to me.
ZOS are fair and attentive in their cautions, which is good:
(note that you need 25 total fragments to make the steed, so keep some Event Tickets ready if you want this one!)

Why does it make me anxious? Honestly, I don't like the mental approach that comes with this scheme. It tells me:
"You don't have a chance to loot enough fragments even is you don't miss a single day of the event. You have to spend some currency on it anyway"
In fact these lootable fragments play as an adverticement of Impressario store instead of just being a fully lootable reward.

I feel it like a step towards the border, where the event rewards would be placed behind a paywall. I definitely don't like it this way and where it possibly goes.
May be it is just me? My be I'm exaggerating? What do you think?

It is fine. I'd like to see more rewards this way.

I almost voted other because my answer should be a shade of green between "uncomfortable" and "wrong"

I don't mind the confetti in the boxes. I DO mind there not being enough days in the event to get all of them without spending tickets.

For this to be an anniversary event that celebrates the game and the players that make it possible, it feels more like a punishment...

I wont say I support the idea of making rewards require tickets to get in one year, but also I don’t think its the end of the world. I’m getting one confetti pack a day from the gold box (I think), itll probably drop from boxes next year too… itll just take 2 years. Its fine.

25 fragments was a bad decision. The total required should be less than the number of days of the event.

Overall, for a 10th anniversary event, all of the approaches for obtaining special items has been bad.

I think it's fine if everything isn't available to everyone and for those who truly value having the mount to prioritize it over other optional things.

The sheer amount of items that are given for so little effort is actually overwhelming. I think it's nice if a few items are more rare and I think as a result of them being more rare the players who do get them will appreciate them more for as long as they play over something that was just handed to them.

No, it was not done well. Either the festival should have been 25 days or the horse 20 fragments.

I like the guaranteed piece of confetti per day in the gold box; much better than the boxes having only a chance to drop a piece.

I don't mind having to put in the time to make sure I get that one piece per day.

I don't care for the total number of confetti you need exceeding the number of days the event runs, and I'm someone who has plenty of tickets to spare because I'm not interested in any of the morphing collectibles so far this year.

There’s nothing rare or prestigious about the Jubilee mount or Style Pages though.

Copious grinding of old activities, or a required logging in every day+lots of your event tickets (and potentially even real money), cause the event to be structured as a huge time sink during a limited time. I’ve been seeing a whole lot of unhappy guildies in what are usually super positive guild chats.

Guaranteed 20 fragments plus 15 out of 60 tickets for a mount. Seems fine.

the guaranteed confetti pack from the gold event box is fine, but they obviously required far too many and shouldnt require buying any with tickets

should have been 15 fragments tops, which would give a little more flexibility without needing to touch tickets

then it would be correct to remove the achievement for getting a horse

The Jubilee has traditionally been a time that people can catch up on previous items, which is not something that anyone will be able to do if they also want the mount. This issue is further compounded by the fact that you will need to log in early on the last day to get the final fragment in order to minimize the number of tickets that you will have to use on mount fragments. Either way you will need 15-18 tickets in order to purchase the mount, and missing a day is a triple-penalty in that you will have missed a fragment, will have missed 3 tickets, *and* will need to spend 3 tickets that you already have to purchase the missed fragment. Seems kind of silly for something that is part of an anniversary celebration. Everything about this event just feels like they don't care about the actual player experience.

I would have preferred that was available outright if you played every day of the event with tickets as an option for people that might have had to miss a few days.

I am currently undecided if I am going to use tickets to finish it this year or hope that it will still be available next year to wrap up. Will come down to the last indrik I am missing available in this quarter or the Jubilee mount, neither of which will actually be used but hey gotta have 'em all right.,

This. I really like the idea of a guaranteed drop from boxes that can also be obtained with tickets. That part of it is very customer friendly, especially towards people who may not be able to play the whole event.

The part I don't like is that they made it require so many that everyone has spend to tickets, even if they played the entire event.

I know for myself, and many others I have seen leave feedback, that LTO grind actually made me feel less appreciated, less good about my item, and frankly kind of ruined them for me a little. I'm hoping my feeling changes later. But right now, I just feel a little unappreciated as a long-time customer.

Maybe I'll feel different when I hit 5/5 (currently at 4/5) items.

I'm 5/5 and feel zero appreciation from ZOS. They literally have a "creative" team and this is what they came up with to celebrate 10 years. Grinding for 50+ hours is not my idea of fun. They could have rolled out unique quests for each of these items so that people could learn about the associated lore, but instead we got *looks around* .... this.

I'm not happy about it but I don't mind, we were given notice that this would be the case and there's plenty of tickets up for grabs. I'll have to forgo adding to my pile of group repair kits but I don't mind that.
