I am playing on the european Playstation server.

1. Sword: 20 Minutes Artaeum
2. Staff of Worms: 4,5 hours running dolmens in the desert
3. Vvardenfell Helmet: 2,5 hours running, fighting, riding, porting between Hollow and Mine, these two were good to farm
4. Vvardenfell Staff: another 6 hours doing the same... again... and again...
5. Summerset Staff: 3 hours blowing up geysers

I was hoping to get all five pages within 20 hours playtime or less. So I am very happy with the 16 hours I needed.

Keep up trying, these style pages drop... sooner or later... its just rng

Honestly I think you got lucky, that's not so bad at all.

The drop rate is horrible.

Thankfully, I don't have any interest in the mount. As a long time horsewoman, I'm seriously offended by the.... um.... total disaster of the horses in this game.

PLEASE hire @AlienSlof to fix the garbage that is horses! Unbelievable that none of your animators can make "really believable" horses.

did you post in the wrong thread? OP did not mention the mount it's about the style pages. just curious because your post don't seem to be connected to this thread

Also congrats OP on getting the style pages it's a tough grind to be sure so far I'm on 5/6 accounts to get them all on every account of mine

Gratz! I noticed that after getting my 5th page, I didn't feel like playing ESO and I just logged in for my ticket and gold box. I don't know what ZOS wanted with this event, but I'm not loving the game or the company more after this.

Congrats on the achievement! And yes, it's an achievement to collect all 5 pages with these awful drop rates.

I think I will give up. With a lot of anger towards ZOS. I will have to do without the worm staff. THAT staff remembering the original main story that was my first big adventure in ESO.

These motifs are about to remind you about the story and the shared adventures.

They show you that thing but make it so that many of us will simply not obtain it.

I have done the dolmens, on a full rotation, for over 12 hours and still nothing. I did fishing for about 20 minutes and got it, went to the dolmens for about 4 hours, nothing, decided to do the WBs, which took around 8 hours for both. Then I went back to the dolmens for an entire 8 hours straight, still nothing. I have done over 400 dolmens, it's a little absurd how bad it is.

Yeah, I think I am in a good spot. Talked with people claiming they got the five pages within less than 10 hours. And talked to people grinding dolmens alone for over 20 hours and nothing.

After getting the sword after eight reel-ins (I wanted to fish in The Reach anyway to get the achievement), I decided to do some dolmens. So I went to the least populated dolmen in Glenumbra and, while doing some RL stuff with my computer, did this dolmen repeatedly without getting any page.
And I quickly realized how dull and boring this grind for the page is. Yes, I know, I'm also getting those Jubilee boxes, but I'm getting so many of them for doing the daily craftings quests anyway - I honestly don't need so many more.

So after reading all the complaints about the low drop rates on the forum, I decided that this is definitely not my cup of tea.

But I still decided to give the RNG goddess the possibility to grant me her generosity: one dolmen, one geysir, one Vvardenfell WB per day (if I have the time) - no more. Either she gives me her blessing or she doesn't. And if she doesn't, I'm fine with it.

Honestly, I don't even know how those styles look like...

well, guess I'm being lit up by lightning. to be honest, I didn't read a whole lot about the event past eat cake - get 3 tickets.
new character , went to Arteum to farm antiquities up to 5. grabbed bunch of butterflies (insects) and when the Lead took me near the water did some fishing. Got the broth recipe, pickled fish bowl recipe, blue crayfish and the Sword over the space of a couple - three hours

tonight Before maintenance, took the character to Alik'r. level 21, ran him up to 24. Left. about 25 dolmens would be my guess.
Looked in the bag, I got the staff.

Didn't know anything about the Vardenfall and summerset stuff. May have to waddle over there and check it out.

It's rng. I've had horrible rng. I've had other characters fish 16 hours over 4 different days just to finally get the pickled recipe.

I had one character Never get the Broth. Gave up after several attempts on different days.

It's unpredictable.

it took me ~20 hours to get all 5 drops, though i would say ~17 hours of that was purely on the vvardenfell WB drops

Congrats! I have the sword and the worm staff, but may not want to grind out the rest. Managed to get the worm staff on my first dolmen of the night a couple days ago. Will probably level a new toon on WBs and geysers.

The crowds at the geysers and dolmens are much less today. I guess either people have got the pages or they are just burned out.

I had to take a break yesterday and just do something else.

Earlier tonight I was standing at a Vvardenfell WB waiting for it to respawn when I thought, "What am I doing???" I left and enjoyed my evening doing other things (inside and outside ESO). I have the sword and the worm staff and that will probably be it for me.

This grind is idiotic. Completely ruined the joy of the double XP.
The game turned into wait 5 min for the boss and alt tab after that. Rinse and repat.

I think it was a cool idea, atrociously executed. I did end up getting all five style pages, but it was horrible, boring and miserable. For me personally, it turned what ahould have been a joyful event, celebtrating all aspects of Tamriel, into a stressful nightmare.

I didn't keep an exact count but I did keep a basic count and it took me about 90 Dolmens, 170 Geysers, and 250 WBS. (Oh and 3 fishing holes haha). which is funny because before the event started, it was the fishing one that said on the official page had an "extremely low chance" to drop. The other four just said they had "a chance".

I'm not sure what the plan was, and I do think it was a cool idea to have these style pages drop during the event. But the RNG was nothing short of cruel. My RNG numbers weren't too bad and I consider myself lucky, but even then I spent ten hours on Saturday 20th April sitting in a fricking cave in Vvardemfell killing a boss. And didn't get a single drop that day.

Worst still was the Geysers. Once we (individually) realised we had to maximise our chances, there was a core of people doing every geyser all day. It takes a lot of concentration to spend hours chasing Geysers around Summerset for several days on end. I've always liked Summerset and I was starting to detest the sight of it. It's beyond bonkers.

I know people from guilds that have done 303 Dolmens for example before they got their Staff of Worms drop. People in Summerset that had done between 500 - 800 Geysers without a drop. People that have been camping Vvardenfell WBs for days on end.

Please, Zos, cease this nonsense. Having event-specific style pages drop was a really cool idea. But this event was supposed to be a fun celebration over all of Tamriel. Instead people ended up being bitter, bored and miserable. I'm a functioning adult and I ended up literally crying tears of frustration on more than one day, having spent hours and days on end trying to farm this stuff. I don't know what the drop rate was, but a 1% drop chance is a 1% drop chance every time you do it. That's a stupidly low drop rate, and means people are spending their event time camping WBs or exhausting themselves with Geysers and Dolmens. Please, for the love of anything, don't ever do anything like this again.

Next time, why not just make style pages a reward for certain things? Even it if it was a grind. Like "Do 100 Geysers", "Kill 200 Vvardenfell WBs", "Do 200 Dark Anchors".

Having event-specific Style Pages drop was a really cool idea, but the RNG turned it from fun to cruel. How many of you devs actually know what it's like to spend ten+ hours a day standing in a cave, get no drop, and have to do it again tomorrow? Or know what it's like to chase Abyyssal Geysers all day long? You have No IDEA how awful it is. And we all have RL stuff to do as well you know.

I know you said you ended up getting it so I'm happy for you but I've been playing this game on and off since launch and its developers frequently push players too hard.

To get maximum value for money out of it I think you need to draw a line around the unhealthy bits like this and just don't play them.

Though I know that's hard if you really want their current carrot. None of these especially appealed to me but cosmetics really do matter in online games.

No, it won't be possible later because the event will have ended. And no, it will only drop for the luckiest ones, like you. I've already spent 40 hours grinding. That's a full work week. And I've only gotten 3 out of the 5 pages.

No, it won't be possible later because the event will have ended. And no, it will only drop for the luckiest ones, like you. I've already spent 40 hours grinding. That's a full work week. And I've only gotten 3 out of the 5 pages.

Yeah I think some people don't really understand that EOS doesn't have any cumulative drop rate. So everytime (if the drop rate is .01% for instance) you only have a .01% chance to get the item. Doesn't matter if the first or the hundred and first.

I was trying to stay positive. Perhaps a good Idea, at least good intentions, but bad implementation.

But after having like 20 crown store outfit styles that look way better, I might use it one day for one of my outfits
