Shield Throw & Scribing

It was confirmed in the livestream that the new 1h & shield skill “shield throw” will have an effect where you can either taunt OR use it on multi targets, but there is NO AOE taunt.

Why??? I just don’t get their over fascination with being vehemently against it when so many people want it. PLUS, it’s a choice, you can AOE taunt or not with scribing? What gives?

I know this isn’t “their vision,” but it’s mind boggling…

And just to clarify, we don’t NEED an AOE taunt, but would it be nice to have as a tank (coming from a tank main)? Absolutely.
